Greetings my Skinny Pretties
Well back up to 131 for no good reason. Ate three cheese crisps made with quinoa for supposedly 75 calories. Dinner was 1/4 of a french dip sandwich leftover from hubby's lunch. more bread than i have had in months. Oh well, so it goes. Need to up my steps. Hubby has been walking the puppy to wear her out. She could be walked about 10 times a day and not wear out.
Well I actually clipped 34 toenails on dogs. Just did the two girls and one has dewclaws and one does not. No three legged dogs here Kairk. Old Chip got excused since he just had his surgery. He is taking mile walks too.
Well there may be some hope on moving my mom to assisted living wing which is very nice. we have been waiting for an opening and it looks like there might be a couple coming up. Still a mess to go through emotionally and from 1800 miles away. A trip in my future. Not much I can do about it until business office opens Monday.
Carbon are they ever going to help you with that knee? Such a bummer since you like to walk to much.
Well need to spend the day de-junking the house but will probably sneak off to studio. The junk will not go anywhere.
Have a great day all. Diane S
Busy morning grooming, and off to work an Alzheimer's event in Kenwood (Sonoma Co. wine country). It's a wine tasting and appetizer type of event. Lord, give me strength to stay away from the appetizers! Grazing at things like this is a downfall of mine.
Am down 2 pounds since Tuesday's after vacation weigh in. That's good in my book. Might have the whole 3.5 off by next Tuesday.
Thanks to all of you who answered my question about trigger/high reaction foods. It is interesting to me to see that most of us really react to foods that are layered (combo foods) and at least somewhat processed. I am looking at this in a more "scientific" way rather than an emotional one. It helps me to understand myself better when I am able to detach from the emotional and value and moralistic judgement side of eating and food.
Off to the races! Happy Saturday, my friends!
