Good morning from the campground!
No scale again today, will have to see what Monday weigh in shows tomorrow. Definitely had some treats yesterday and enjoyed them, this morning right back on track with high protein breakfast. Will plan to pick up some stuff today and prep food for an on track week at work.
Ocean, I can't believe you've lost 150 pounds, a whole person! More than a whole person of you :). I'm sure with the higher fats and nuts your weight will stabilize. I hear you though, I think if I needed to gain weight that would trigger some anxiety. In my world I'm doubting that will ever happen- lol.
David, the jewelry is beautiful, something I've always wanted to try.
Hope everyone is doing well with family situations and travels. I look forward to everyone's updates each day and am enjoying my new group of virtual friends!!!

Hey fellow happy camper! (Yeah I know - I'm more of a glamper). So glad to hear you got right back on track. This is how we become successful in maintenance. A few planned indulgences that we thoroughly enjoy and then we jump right back into our normal routines. Voila!

I hope you are so right Linda! I've lost weight lots of times in the past. I'm hoping my difference this time is getting back on track right away. In the past once I fell off the wagon I just laid there and let it run me over a few times!!! ;)

No weight today, I wasn't organized enough to accomplish before coffee. I also lacked motivation because I ate quite a few extra calories yesterday. I did track those calories so not entirely in denial.
My body felt quite off yesterday (not remedied by extra calories, by the way) so I was did nothing but sit and lay around. My husband was appalled but the surgeon had said that I will still have days like that and I should behave accordingly. I was able to sleep well last night despite a day of napping so I must have needed the rest. I am hoping to feel more normal today.
David, beautiful necklace! I admire those of you with the artistic eye and ability to do fine detailed work. DianeO, it is so nice to see you active :) Heather, your camping trip sounds grand. Carbon, healing vibes for that knee. Poker (?, I might be remembering your handle wrong) great job at staying on task, adjusting when you see need.
Have a skinny Sunday!

Morning my friends. No scale for me either.
DD is here, we had lots of laughs last night, but also indulged in extra food and drink. Like Shel, I don't think I really wanted to weigh, which is irrational because I know full well that losses and gains don't come from a single day of eating differently.
DianeO, you already know I'm the resident busybody here, but since your weight continues to drop below where you know you're too skinny, I'm wondering how many calories you're eating right now and how many you plan to add with fats/nuts?

Thanks you for asking a question that required me to take a hard look at my food log. I am logging 1650-1700 calories to eat over four meals. I'm rarely eating everything I planned... either not the full amount, or missing the 4 th meal all together. I'm not going back in to my log to adjust down. I'm actually eating about 1300 calories per day. That explains a lot. I am getting 80- 100 grams of protein, and all of my water, so that is good.

There's good evidence to suggest that some of us become normal/efficient metabolizers after surgery. I'm one of those people and I think you may be too. Knowing that you're still losing at 1300 cals and that you know you're likely underweight by almost 10 pounds (that's a lot at our size) I'd suggest you consistently eat 1800 cals daily right away. Add them with fats and less dense proteins to protect the habits you've successfully built.
Have to be honest, not a fan of building in a 4th meal because it could be hard to let go of if you need to drop weight at some point, so if it was me, I'd fatten up the meals and snacks.
