Happy Hump Day !!!
Carbon.. have you tried a knee brace ? Perhaps that would provide some relief and increased mobility ? I agree with your enjoyment hearing about our travelers and adventurers exploits !! Actually, we are ALL maintenance adventurers, aren't we !?
123.2 today. Well, I took the big step and hired a lawn /snow removal service yesterday. When I bought my home three years ago, it was with the expectation that I had a partner to help me maintain it. I truly enjoy the yard work, but there is a huge difference between a team approach and a solo approach. For now, this service is going to pick up the mowing and weed wacking, along with spring and fall lawn applications. I'll do gardening, bush trimming, raking leaves. Not only will giving up weed wacking and mowing reduce the likelihood of breaking skin in my leg (because I refuse to wear pants when it is 95 degrees and humid), it will give me more free time with Sadie on the weekends.
Speaking of Sadie, she has never been allowed in my bedroom or bed at night. Chuck was absolutely against it. Once he was gone for good, I still hesitated to start something I knew I could never undo, by having Sadie sleep with me. Also, after her knee surgery, she never could have made it on and off my high bed. Well.... the time has come !!! Big bath Saturday, and we'll see how she likes it.
Curious... how many of you sleep with your dogs ?
Have a great day, friends !
Diane

DH and I have always allowed our dogs (which have all been 30 lbs or less, 2 at a time) on the bed. They glom onto me which I complain out loud about but inwardedly wouldn't have any other way.

We have three dogs who love to sleep on our bed. They usually all sleep with us when taking naps, but only our little one stays on the bed at night. My bigger girls like to sleep in their dog beds on the floor.
Our dogs have always slept with us, and I can't imagine at what it would be like to just have hubby there without the girls.
5' 5" tall. VSG on August 4, 2015/ Starting weight 239.9/ Surgery weight 210.9/ Current weight 137.4/ Goal weight 140/ No longer overweight, now a NORMAL weight. Now that I'm at goal, it's time to move on to maintenance!!!!!!!!
156.7# I'm up very early this morning. Lots to do today. Farmer's Market. Workout. I'm going into school to start cleaning out my room and transition to the library. I'm training next week. It's really happening. Lots of changes happening because of budget and new administration. Praying that we as a staff can accept the changes and focus on our students. Change is hard but it's coming.
Diane O.- when we've had dogs they've always slept with me/us. When we dog sit, Scruffy, the schnauzer mix sleeps with us. Pearl, the English Bulldog does not. We are thinking about an adult dog again. I'd love to have a mini Goldendoodle. We'll see...
Oh! I was measured Monday...overall I've lost 9+ inches since I began at the Y. Hoping this motivates me to keep up the exercise. I'm liking the results, of course...
Have a fabulous day!!!
Library sounds like an awesome change !! You are fortunate to have an open minded central administration !!
