Greetings Great Guys and Gals
Still at 130.5. Missed the puppy walk yesterday but will get it in today. She likes to pick up little rocks and carry them around and I am scared she will swallow one. Hmm, rocks for dinner. Probably have no calories but would likely cause weight gain.
Saw the chiropractor for a sore hip yesterday. She said its out of kilter probably due to a fall i took quite some time ago. Then I had to go buy 20 gallons of house paint because the big sale was ending. Painter won't get to it for a few weeks.
Why can't I see Kairk's pictures?
I have been wanting pizza too. May make some turkey roll ups with pizza stuff inside. Also have some turkey pepperoni that I plan to line a pan with and put a little pizza topping on it.
Gotta make a run to the SCRAP store with donations of craft items. Ditto the thrift store. Taking care of studio office this week while our director is on vacation so its payroll and banking.
Bees are great. I am trying to think of an art tribute to bees. Lots of people at our studio decorate pottery with bees.
Best wishes to those recovering from stuff. Hey there was a good article in the OH newsletter about sugar addiction. worth a look.

Boy! What a long day! I left the apartment at 9:00 am and did not return until just around 8:30 pm. I'm guessing 90% of that time was spent walking and being on my feet. My legs are tired. My legs were downright shaky after climbing up and down the Bunker Hill monument obelisk. Honest, my heart was pounding pretty hard, too. I think my climb was a little more vigorous than it needed to be. Anyhow, I am certain that I walked more than 10,000 steps today!
Food was good, or at least better today. I was pleased with myself for tasting my lunch, finding it far below my standards and refusing to eat it. I threw it out and got something I knew I would enjoy - a single slice of pepperoni pizza. I guess it's a pizza week. Dinner was fantastic! Pollo de Limone (breast rolled and stuffed with prosciutto and sage and a little fontina topped with a very delicate lemon butter). I ate 1/2 the breast and left everything else. I didn't want it and I felt just right. Later I had a rich, thick -almost creamy-espresso. I finished the day with a little bit of gelato at Faneuil Hall and stopped to watch some amazing hip hop boys.
I have to correct my error in my post from yesterday. The term used in The End on Overeating is "Conditioned Hypereating" and boy it fits me to a frigging tee! I have some major work to do when I get home and frankly it's scaring the crap out of me. I have to keep remembering that things in life that are really worth having often require hard work and patience to achieve. I am the little engine that could!
Diane O., Lesa, I bought a hardback copy of Make Way for Ducklings today. Am I a teacher, or what? Oh, and for my bff who teaches 5th a graphic novel of Paul Revere's Ride and copies in parchment of the Declaration of Independence, The Bill of Rights, and the preamble to the Constitution. We never stop, do we?
Off to Newport in the morning. I'm trying Uber for the first time, too. So many firsts this trip! LOL!
Diane S- the pictures were all posted on Facebook- so much easier than posting to OH.
Sounds like you are living in the moment, and having a ball ! Integrating mindful eating too ! Our hero !!?
