Kind of looking forward to going back to work part time in Monday. Received my revised Dr.'s note in the mail yesterday.. she stipulated half days "until pain and swelling are resolved". . Our shared calendar and email systems have transitioned from Outlook to Google, which will be an annoyance. I really prefer Outlook.
Lazy day today. Will continue battle with bugs eating my squash blossoms and do some puttering outside. I'm meeting with a prospective lawn care guy Tuesday, to get an estimate for mowing and snow removal. I didn't purchase this house intending to live here alone, and it is a bit more than I can handle, especially with any type of physical limitation. Also will continue reading "Rewiring...", which I am LOVING !! And yes Devon, I am confident the neuroscience is mostly gender neutral, LOL !

(Six months and one week.) AT GOAL month 8. Maintaining at goal range (139- 144) ~ four (4) years !!
5 day of mostly liquids, 95% protein is DONE. Ended up with a 7 pound loss from it. I am really pleased with that. Down to 183 today.
Now transitioning back to solids. Going to target less than 40 carbs per day. Might keep throwing shakes in there just to keep protein up.

I'm up early having coffee. Andy is sleeping after a hot and tiring week of band camp. Hoping he will sleep in:). Then we're off to visit my parents and furniture shopping for the living room.
My scale is up a pound. I almost forgot to weigh this morning. Weird in a good way! I didn't measure yesterday. My trainer was running late so will measure on Monday. Hard workout and then worked in the yard. According to my Polar HRM, i burned just about what I ate yesterday:)

No more chocolate the rest of the day but grazing is difficult to control. Son & DIL keep quality snacks and dried fruit that are so appealing because I can sample without eating a portion. A nibble here and there adds up and control was fleeting. Tried to busy myself as distraction and managed to do a couple of repairs to the house.
Hope healing continues all the way around.

Quick check in. On the plane. Did not weigh this morning. Less than 4 hours of sleep and feel surprisingly okay. Had a breakfast croissant at the airport - real food BTW, I watched it being made. I don't eat much bread and the croissant is not sitting well, though it went down easy. Should have good wifi on the cape, so I'll try to check in.

Morning all. I'm at 114. Hoping to get DH up to help work on Violet before it gets any hotter here. Either way, will not ride today but will likely take a drive in the truck later.
