Day 3 liquids... hungry as hell, but hanging in there.  Forgot my shaker bottle when I went to work today, so that made for half-assed shakes.  I managed.

Down to 185.5 today.  I feel so much slimmer in my abdomen.  Previously I had been so bloated.  I like this new feeling of slimness.  I forgot what it was like.  

I know the losses won't continue like this.  But I like how it's gone so far.

Hubby is being super supportive.  He's cooking & eating quickly and on the down-low.  What a guy.  :)

131 today. Any no gain day is a good start.  

Love the bald eagle story.  We had a nesting pair in our county that had a camera on them so we could watch the eaglets hatch and grow. The pair did not return this year but had many pairs of eaglets. They used to poop off the back of the nest.   I wonder if you created some sort of a perch for them if they would use that and poop off it instead of the roof. There is this sticky stuff called Tanglefoot that you can put in areas where you don't want birds to nest which we used when barn swallows wanted to nest right over our front steps. 

We have barn swallows at our pottery and they nest in this one eave and then poop on our equipment and work tables. So we hung this trash can lid below the nest as a poop catcher. works well but no one wants to clean it.

Well its a calm day here so a good day for dog walks. They got cut a little short yesterday due to a big scary unrestrained dog.

Dave sounds like a good time house sitting the kennel. certainly keeps you busy and active. I certainly get more steps in with the puppy even though she is peacefully dozing, resting up for more destruction and annoying the other dogs.

Forgot this important report: yesterday a woman came jogging through our neighborhood with a pet on a lea**** was a goat!  Left little goat poops all up and down the sidewalk.

And speaking of poop, Shel I wonder if your local fish and game dept could suggest  a  legal and safe way of keeping the eagles off the roof. Lots of people put plastic owls up to scare away other birds. Also buy coyote pee to scare away varmints.  Or just paint the whole roof white.  diane s

I hadn't thought about fish and wildlife!  They used to walk up the creek to see how new housing developments were affecting salmon spawning creeks.  They are serious people outfitted in serious gear including side arms.   I am sure they have info but not sure we want their attn.

DH has used plastic owls, etc, in other critter wars.  The living critters laughed so now the plastics live up up in the attic along with plastic critters used for Halloween.

We have a lot of crows in the area and they will sometimes mob eagles but we haven't seen them bugging this one, yet.  NPR had a report once on how crows know their people enemies and pass the info around the gang and thru generarations. DH probably is on the crow's outlaw list for harassment.

all in all, better than having a bear :)   

i do have some concerns about my 5 lb toy fox terrier and the eagle, tho.

I'd worry about your TFT, too! 

Little fun fact: a gathering/group of crows is called a "murder of crows".
