125.6. Got a nice walk in yesterday. Didn't get nearly as much house cleaning/organizing in as I would have liked. I did get fitted for the dress I am wearing to my nieces wedding Labor Day weekend. I have her shower next weekend and am in charge of making all the food - go figure. We are having brunch and will be doing a few egg casseroles and a few French toast casseroles and of course a fruit salad! Maybe I'll make a small veggie tray too!
Work today, not sure what else.
Happy Huuuuuuummpp Day! (said in my best camel voice!)
Paula
Happy Hump day on a string of three positive days yesterday ! Me too !! The wrap continues to provide significant relief ! Off all pain meds !
129.6 today...
Linda... keep those pictures coming ! Hoping Bailee joins the "good day list "! Paula, if you do sell your house, does that change your timetable for retiring in Hawaii ?
Positive thoughts and energy to friends who are working hard to maintain a positive focus and stay the course. For what it is worth, when I feel the struggle starting to pull me, I try hard to identify five things I am grateful for, for every one "negative" I want to ding myself with. It really helps me keep my head in the game !

Happy Hump Day! Weight 151.8 this morning, up another pound from yesterday. Makes no sense since calories were about 1,000 yesterday. I've had to admit a gain every day since I joined this group...very frustrating and starting to freak out. Hopefully water weight of some sort, I will just keep on keeping on. Also keeping my promise to myself to post on this board daily, including my weight! My plan of attack is to hit the grocery store this am for some new recipes to have plenty of healthy choices prepped since I'm working some long shifts Friday through Monday. Will also go for a nice long walk while my son is at soccer camp tonight.
I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!!

Heather if you've upped your carbs at all you will be showing some temporary water weight in the early days of maintenance, followed by a loss. Happens to most of us so no worries. Your calories are still really low so your numbers are sure to drop more

Linda,
Thank you for taking the time to say what I know is true. Even though I know it's not a "real" gain, the scale still has complete power to freak me out!! I feel like maintenance is my shiny new toy that someone wants to take away!! :)

Morning!
Surgeon follow up today. I will be asking about activity guidelines since I have started to watch my Fitbit steps and plotting how to increase. I was thinking that was ok as long as it is on the flat.
OT: my husband is super gardener and super structured. Everything in its place! Over the years, he has gone to war with various critters including squirrels and crows and brought them to justice for their messy crimes. New for this year, the critters brought in a big gun.
It started GIANT white poops splattered across the roof as if shot out of a paint gun. My husband would dutifully immediately climb onto the roof and clean it off. We didn't know what kind of bird was doing it but it had to be big. Number one on the suspect list was blue herons. We have a creek behind the house that has enough fish in it to attract them on a regular basis.
Eventually, my husband snapped a pic of a bald eagle sitting on the top of the house, with white poo spread out on the roof directly below it. Not willing to "battle" a bald eagle, they settled into a rhythm of the eagle using our roof as a latrine, and DH cleaning up.
But, yesterday the eagle spread the war to the back deck, streaking at least half of it with Bald Eagle poo. The deck is made of some sort of fancy boat-making wood, hand laid by DH, natch. I can see poor DH struggling. Eagles are not uncommon around here, but they are special in DH's heart besides being protected by law.
Nicely played, critters. Nicely played.
Have a great day all!
