126.4. Down a smidge.

Welcome to all of the new and returning folks! So nice to see this board growing!

Have a dress fitting this morning (niece's wedding Labor Day weekend) and have to start to get house ready for a showing in about a week. When we were in Hawaii we received a letter out of the blue from someone that wants to buy a home in our neighborhood. We were not planning on trying to sell our home for another 2 or so years but it is a seller's market right now and if we can get top dollar, we might consider it! Lots to think about for sure!

Have a terrific Tuesday everyone!

Paula

Getting top dollar and moving! How exciting.  Told my neighbor we were moving to my son's farm in the airstream.  He said he wants to rent our house for his MIL.  We want to see how living in isolation goes first but may consider it, extra income stream.

WT  218 down a little Calorie 1407.  I found some mini chocolate chips grabbed a small hand full. Thought they were pretty good so I got another.  I couldn't stop.  Ended eating 2 oz of chocolate.  What was up with that?  I was alone. Anxiety up a little. I wanted nuts and yogurt.  Had mowed the yard and was hot, thirsty and MT.  Didn't want to tell it but it is my truth for yesterday. Today is a new day.  Onward and upward.

Will be going to my oldest's house to sit while they are away on business.  Farm animals to tend.  We will be taking our dogs, they have dogs and cats. It is a circus act to juggle what dogs can't be together.

Nothing wrong with truth and super important to SEE it.  Good for you to move on.

Have fun on the farm, even with the accompanying pet circus.

I looked at your profile pics of your airstream.  Just beautiful.  Just how off the grid will you be?  I was surprised at how much I missed being connected the 2 weeks we were in Alaska.

Technically we will be on the grid.  It is a county road but they are not doing any upkeep because nothing on the road except a cemetery at the end.  Closest neighbor 1/2 mile my son's house is 2 miles.  Closest walmart is 35 min.  As long as amazon can find me I'll be alright.  I have social anxiety and don't leave home except to Sams and doctors.

I've had issues more than once with things like mini chocolate chips.  "just a couple" seems so harmless and then before I know it I have gone overboard.  But today is always a new day.  Good for you for being honest, acknowledging the behavior and moving on!!

Chocolate chips are one of my downfalls.  I simply can't have them around.  There is no "small handful" for me.  As you say, onward, upward!

Morning all.   Goodness Paula this is exciting!! And David the siren call of chocolate is a hard one.

Good calorie day 1211 and eventually 7,999 steps but paid for them with pain.  Oh well.

water restrictions had me ou****ering at 5am and large black bear sauntered by in neighbours yard.  What scared me was the cat jumping out from under a tree carefully hiding from said bear.  Be still my beating heart.

Kairk, you seem to be going through a rough patch, but I know that your ' never give up' attitude will get you through this.   Cheering you and everyone else onward.

Have a good one.

Bears seem to appear in my world quite regularly. It's my daughter's spirit animal so I assume that's why.  Most thrilling - I had a (too) close encounter on my motorcycle with a youngish grizzly a couple of years back. I could have reached out my arm and touched him.  Both he and I were at slow speed too.

How did your daughter discover her spirit animal?

It was through a guided session with a local aboriginal shaman. I was with DD because I had to drive (she was about 15 at the time) and shaman asked me to lie back in an easy chair in another part of the room while DD laid on a blanket which I think was covered in herbs.  While the shaman was only guiding DD, he encouraged me to vision as well. Lots of prayers, sweet grass waved over me too. Interestingly, I saw DD's animal!  Powerful stuff. It was really something and I wish I had gone back and done a session myself.
