Love these---I have both AMAZON prime and Netflix.  Will get busy because now that I am more mobile, I can feel the call of the fridge.  There is nothing in there that is not VSG friendly, but excess volume/grazing is more is my nemesis.  (As I looked at your airstream pics, I automatically scanned to see if there was space for a fridge large enough to meet my disordered brain!)

Airstream looks great! I'm kind of handy, but I'm no carpenter! I leave that sort of work to my BFF. He can build ANYTHING! Such a talent! 

Up a pound +. DAMN! Chinese food for dinner. While I will be sad to see Ruby go today, I will also be glad. This puppy chapter will finally close with her departure. 

Got the book in the mail yesterday that Diane S recommended a while ago. Funny, it's a used copy, which is not what I ordered, but what the hell, right? It was an $11 hardback and it's in good shape, just no jacket. Hopefully, I will get a few gems to help me on this never ending journey. 

I'm still stuck a bit with what Diane O mentioned last week (or early this week) about we all have a vision of what it means to us to live a healthy and balanced life. I really don't and this is bothering me. I only have a vision of what I WISH I could be as an eater, but it's not based in reality. 

I did have one little win yesterday: I threw away a box of Russian chocolates Ruby's new owner brought as a gift. I did not like them. When I ate one I was very dissatisfied and the dissatisfaction triggered me to eat more to find satisfaction, I suppose. So, I chucked them in the garbage under the kitchen sink. Bye bye crappy ass chocolates! 

Hoping for a thoughtful Thursday, filled with peaceful understanding and compassion for us all. Healing thoughts to everyone. 

Good job!  It is very hard for me to throw food away.  After i grind it up in the garbage disposal (and I can't get to it) I feel very empowered.

Wow Dave, the airstream looks great. Fine wood working is truly and art form.Keeping busy with your hands is a good way to keep from eating and in your case, you get something wonderful done as well. Win Win.

Diane Ocean, glad you are losing a little fluid and wish you had a little pressure valve to fix the tightness. Must be very un fun.  Ditto Carbon, can you just order a new knee from Amazon?  (I know, not funny). Can you at least get in somewhere for a cortisone shot?

Shel, your recovery sounds like its going well but its going to take a while. I gotta hand it to you - I am too wimpy to go through all that though I could sure use it. 

Well another routine day here, cloudy morning but the sun will likely pop out later.  Dog walks planned and then time in the studio. Growling barking puppies playing on the deck. Tesla is going to be a barker I am afraid.  And Chip barks back. 3 dogs - what was I thinking?

Things are not going so well back on the home front with my Mom. Crazy friend is getting crazier. I am staying out of it but trying to be supportive of care givers. I fear the crazy friend is just going to keel over soon. She is 90 and won't do what doctor says. 

Getting excited about signing up for medicare. Boy , how dull is my life. But it will save me big bucks each month.

The goodyear blimp has been circling around here lately.  They actually keep it at our local airport when its not in use. I guess there is extra hanger space and not a lot of other air traffic around. It makes a distinctive sound so you always know when its lurking about. Saw it landing the other day. Wish I could take a ride in it. Bet they have a weight limit and that I am under it! 

Down to 131 today.  I have been visited by pound #132 so often I feel I should give it a name. How about "Go Away and Don't Come Back". Hmm, a few other people I would like to name that.   Diane S

P.S.  Shel, if you liked Breaking Bad, you will like the prequel, "Better Call Saul".  Its well done.  Hubby is into Game of Throwns but I have lost track.

Kairk, thanks for posting pic of puppy and hubby.  I am betting we will meet up at a dog show sometime.  Diane S
