Hello all,

I have a fun day ahead. Going to Golden Gate Park for an Airedale Walk followed by lunch on the patio of the Park Chateau at the far western edge of the park on the Great Highway. The weather in SF promises to be mild (mid 60s) which is perfect "Airedale weather". Do have to groom later in the day, but after such a lovely morning, why not, right?

209.4  Certainly heading the right direction. Interesting workout yesterday. I've been having mid back soreness, basically at the base of my lats and spinal transition area. Trainer decided to go back to basics and work on core strength. Being more advanced now, back to basics sure had a different look and feel. I was wiped afterwards, but didn't realize it until later last night. Wow, I was really zonked. I could feel the fatigue in my muscles. I did get 2.8 miles in on the elliptical after our core work.

Am trying to help my 57 year old BFF lose some weight. He's stuck in "fewer calories" is what should work. He eats nothing but carbs and fat. His protein consumption is usually less than 30 grams per day. He is frustrated he's not losing weight, but feels like he is starving. I did my best, but you can only lead a horse to water, right? The funny thing is that he doesn't understand, or want to admit, that when eating only carrots for an afternoon snack he has to acknowledge that he's dipping them in ranch dressing, or when he has a banana for dessert he needs to count the chocolate syrup he's covering it with. Sound familiar????? LOL!

Good morning! Thanks for the welcome.   I usually don't have any problem going to sleep.  Sometimes have trouble staying that way.  Always wake early.

221 on the dot. Down 1 from yesterday. I had been running 217 for weeks then watermelon season came.  We have Cave City, AR melons now.  They used to ship them to the White House.  It will be the one and only for me because I don't eat them moderately.

We are remodeling a '77 airstream.  Gutted the whole thing.  I am working on the closets today. Our plan is to move into it when we are finished.  It has been a major project going on over a year but I'm starting to see the end in sight.  I didn't think I was going to be able to put it back together for a while.

We would love to get our hands on one of those old airstreams for an ultra modern remodel!

Hey everyone and welcome David! We're glad have you join us. No weight this morning.

Riding was yesterday - caught in major rain and hail on the way back and it was an unseasonably cool day too. We didn't let it mess with our fun, but today we aren't riding because we need to thoroughly dry all our gear. That's okay - our tiny home looked like a bomb went off with clothes and other gear draped all over!

This evening is show n shine, the closing banquet for the Triumph event. I'm one of the judges for the show n shine because Violet won last year. Fun night ahead hanging out with this riding family, most of whom I don't get to see elsewhere. As always, only 10% women riders but lots of the guys' partners attend as well.

Tomorrow we're going to make the long push back to southern Alberta for a week. Visiting Rob's family (gulp) and swinging up to Calgary to get some maintenance work done on my bike and visit DD.

Greetings Pretty skinnies

Diane O I am so sorry you are still fighting the lymphedema thing . It sucks that you can't get a sooner appointment. Hope you are taking it easy and babying that leg. I feel your pain.

You too Carbon.  Not sleeping may be due to your reduced exercise from knee. Health issues suck.  I will say I have always been and insomniac and taking Ambien is a blessing.  I used to have to eat myself to sleep. not good.

Welcome Dave. Interesting to hear about your airstream.  I have some friends that live in one but knowing them, I bet its pretty funky inside.

Airedale walk in golden gate park!  What a fun idea.  Wish we had enough border terriers around here for a border terrier beach day.

Tesla is growing like a weed and tormenting her dad all the time. He is really pretty patient but when she barks at him, he barks back. This is going to be a noisy puppy, I'm afraid.

Worked at the gallery this morning. very slow day so I spent a lot of time dragging hoses around to water the flowers. The place is just a little old house so we try to keep the flowers attractive.   Its Trinidad Art Gallery if anyone wants to google it.

Well thats about it for now.  131 today.  I think the 20's section on my scale is broken.  Diane
