Greetings my favorite people (whom I have never met face to face)

Wow lots of news here. Carbon, so sorry you fell into a hole. Not the Grand Canyon I hope. Take care of those knees everyone. Seems they are kind of delicate things and as we age they give us fits.  I am quite lucky to have no knee problems but then I have never done jogging. Will probably wear out my butt first.

Joey, a law office can sure be a pressure cooker. I am a retired attorney and the stress on us from clients sure trickles down. Wish they would let you two figure out how to cover phones.

Kairk, good on you for getting your summer to do list in order. And I gotta give you credit because you are not giving up on the weight/sugar thing. You keep working at it and don't allow set backs to make you quit. Guess we should all adopt that attitude. Approach a problem from all sides and don't allow a day's failure to make you give up. Thats what Frisco says the secret is. Determination.

131 today so in recovery from tea party carb fest. Gotta say that people at this tea had dinner plates loaded with cookies, finger sandwiches, scones with cream and jelly and maybe a grape or two. It was a full meal for some of carbs and sugar. Surely its possible to have healthy tea parties. The bread was not even whole grained! Oh dear, I believe I have become a health nut.  Yay

Puppy chewed my glasses. These are my old pair as the new ones are being repaired. Not too bad but there are teeth marks in the lenses. She is turning into a good little dog but lots more growing up to do.     Diane S

P.S.   I consider high heels the western world's version of foot binding. However, sour grapes on me as I have never been able to wear them comfortably and got rid of them all years ago. Next I got rid of all panty hose and wore pants suits. Then I got rid of the job. Diane S

I know! It amazes me how she keeps the calories so low with such consistency. Keeping at 1200 a day for me is quite a feat!

I agree carbon, I would have a very hard time keeping calories so low.

Probably won't have a weight until I get home from vacation. Calories good today, carbs/sweets too high.

Did our grocery shopping today and overall made good choices. Have several activities booked that have food involved - tour tomorrow, a luau and magic show. Will try to make good choices but also know that I at least sample the carbs/desserts.
