So impressed with your steps and low calories level this far out from surgery. Don't know how you do it!

129.0 *hangs head in shame*. I was SOOOOOO tempted to not post today because that is not a number I wanted to share at all! I did get 45 minutes of exercise in over lunch yesterday!

Glad we are staying in condos while on vacation so at least some of our meals will be able to be better controlled. I have a whole container just filled with protein bars packed in my suitcase already! Looking forward to buying lots of fresh fish and fruit as well when we are there! Activity level should be good too while we are gone!

Rainy morning here and then supposed to be cloudy and somewhat cool the rest of the day. I'll do boot camp for exercise since I have to stay inside!

Hope you are all doing a better job of protecting your skinny then I am!   Here's to a new day!

Paula

Now that it is posted it is officially whooshed away.  Onward!

I am hoping for lots of fresh fish in Alaska, too! Don't think they will have the whole fruit thru going, tho!

Hanging on by the skin of my teeth.

There is no room for shame in our game.  We have all wasted too many years experiencing shame on an intimate basis.  It diverts time and energy from what we need to be doing.  Seize the present moment, anchor in how far we've come, and make the next healthy choice. Repeat.

We can all do this !!!

Age: 64; 5' 5"; High weight: 345; Start weight: 271 (01/05/15); Surgery weight: 218 (05/27/15); Pre-Op (-53); M 1 (-18); M 2 (-1.5); M 3 (-13.5 ); M 4 (-13); M 5 (- 8); M 6 (-12) M 7 (-5, Xmas); M 8 (- 9) Under surgeon's goal and REACHED HEALTHY BMI 12/07/15!! greetings shameless skinnies

Whoo Hoo, 129.5 today.  Haven't seen a 2 in awhile. At least the first number is not a 2 like it once was!

Hey shame is for cruel mean people like criminals and such.  Not for a person who eats something not on plan. Nothing in the Ten Commandments says "Thou shalt not eat a Twinkie".  Gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins but an off plan couple of cookies is hardly gluttony.  We have talked about not judging as good or bad here. Maybe just suitable or unsuitable food choices.  So hard to get away from the sin concept but we really ought to work at that.

Lets all concentrate this week on not feeling shame for our food errors and focus on moving forward or doing something constructive. (easy for me to say as I sit here at nearly 10 am still in my bathrobe)

Well that puppy sure is getting my steps up. She can do a couple blocks on a leash now and soon it will be a couple of miles.

Enjoy vacation all you skinnies. Being retired, I am on permanent vacation but lots of days it still feels like I am skipping school!

Hang in there Carbon. Remind yourself of how worthwhile your efforts are.   Diane S  (puppy servant)

So happy to see that you broke the 130 barrier!  Some day would love to see an updated picture of Ms. Tesla

160.1#...for the love of Pete!!  Why does my body do this!!!  I'm downright pissy about it!  Trusting the process...

There is no shame...hard not to feel it when I feel like I know better and do it anyway.  Just have to keep trying!!  I'm saying this as I'm watching the Pioneer Woman make Crazy Brownies...with m&m's, rolos, Reese's peanut butter cups and nuts...Good LAWD!!!!

I went to Body Flow this morning.  Massage at 1pm.  And, whatever  else the day brings.

I mentioned I measured yesterday...I've lost 7 inches overall and lost 5# since I've started working out consistently again.  Body fat didn't move much.

Hang in there.

Devon...have fun in Long Beach!
