Hi my pretty skinnies

Well things are looking up. Had a few days of hideous stress that I won't bore everyone with but finally got some things done to alleviate it. Our house is still hideously cluttered but hubby is making progress on shipping items to his family.

So vacation fun begins for all. Shel, i feel your pain. But you will soldier through it.

Made fish last night and could only eat half of it. too big of a fillet I guess. Good ol' sleevie still on the job.

If only we just had birds in the garden. Though they do eat strawberries. We have slugs and snails that eat everything. Its too cool here to grow tomatoes here without a greenhouse but the farmers market has great ones. Nothing like home grown.

Puppy is a terror and is probably on the no-fly list by now.  But she is deadly cute.

Take care all. Carbon your steps amaze me. Do you ever sit down?

Momsy and Lorna, thinking of you. Kairk, have most of the pups gone yet?  Wish we had a big hamster wheel for ours.

Late, late check in here today. Busy with prep for Long Beach and sending the last of the first 4 pups off today. Sending each pup off takes a few hours. This one a bit longer since we had to entertain a bit before going back to the airport. Diane, we are down to two - Ace (the keeper) and Ruby the female going to Luxembourg on July 21. We tore down the inside pen this morning and are now seriously housebreaking the remaining two pups. Shouldn't be too hard. They are smart little ones. Ace already holds it for several hours at a time.

Weight: down 1.6 since Monday. Not going quickly, but hell, I'm not trying super duper hard, either! Watching, monitoring, keeping track, but haven't gone "old school". I read an article on AuthorityNutrition.com yesterday about night time eating. It is worth reading. A lot of it was applicable to me, but it also touches on delving into the reasons why we choose to eat when we are not hungry. That gave me pause for thought. It wasn't cataclysmic eye opening stuff, but it did help me think about my issues.

Off to Long Beach in the wee hours tomorrow. Probably won't post until next week, though I will try to check in and read what's going on.
