Double negative whammy of poor eating choices and no exercise yesterday.
I did discover a new (for our store at least) Costco find! Kirkland brand protein bars in Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Chocolate Fudge Brownie. Very much like Quest bars, similar in macros, texture, size etc. but way cheaper and pretty tasty too!
Busy day on tap. Will start packing for the trip, getting the house in order and will get out and enjoy the beautiful sunshine with a walk later on today!
Have a great day my friends!
132.2 Three more days of madness, then my healthy summer routine can begin. Retirement dinners, luncheons, make your own sundae celebrations following me from building to building. Struggling to keep the toxic stress at bay. Food choices are okay, all things considered... water retention in play. Wearing compression stockings today.
We've all got this !! We know how to protect our skinny ! Breathe... one step at a time !!

Here's a link to the protein bar stats that Paula mentioned. Very similar to Quest Bars. I'm thinking worth a try! http://www.costco.com/wcsstore/CostcoUSBCCatalogAssetStore/A ttachment/1076882+Nutritional-Facts.pdf
Edit to add: Costco claims the bars cost $1.15 each. However, if you order online the box of 20 bars comes to $46 with shipping and handling - so 23 bucks for shipping and handling which brings the cost inline to the cost of Quest Bars sold at Trader Joe's. Clearly not a bargain if ordered online.
123 this morning
Nothing new and exciting with me tho a bit nervous with vacation prep. Exercise has been different, more steps than yoga (trying to make sure my legs are hardened up for hiking)

My scale gave me a nice friendly Goldilocks 112 today. Picked it up and put it in the RV to help keep me on track for the next three months.
Doing some housecleaning and starting to load the RV today. As expected, we won't be ready tomorrow morning as planned but basically have to be by end of day

Greetings Dear Skinnies
Thanks for the report on the Costco protein bars. I had read about them and looked for them in our store but no luck. But we live in a backwater.
Puppy Tesla is learning to walk on a leash. Good thing because the neighbors are working on our common fence and sections are down.
Sounds like everyone has their summer fun well underway. Ain't summer better skinny? Even if you are like me and NEVER wear shorts due to cool climate plus world's whitest legs with lose skin.
Cheers all. Diane S
