Friday
Good Morning and a happy Friday to all you working folk! Hahahaha.... like I've really had a lot of leisure time this first week off... NOT...
Up a couple of tenths this morning. Good exercise day yesterday: 3.9 miles on the elliptical which translated into 6900 strides. The machine said something ridiculous like 550 +/- calories burned. I wi**** were truly so! Food was in check and I did measure (most everything) and track yesterday. Slowly but surely back on track.
Mama Keira (my oldest girl at 7 yrs) goes in today to be spayed. She's been a good mama dog and I won't breed her again, so it is time. She also has a couple of BB sized lumps/nodules in her mammary gland region I want checked. Those are worrisome to me. Hope all goes well for her. I always worry - even when it's routine.
129.8 today. Extremely stressful at work... spending lots of time in one of our elementary buildings (950+ students) covering for a principal out the remainder of the school year. Teachers are highly stressed, with two more full days and two more half days with kids ahead of them before their vacation. Trying to keep the roof on and deflect some of the crap away from teachers. All of the summer birthday goodies and food fixes people drag out... as has been said.... schools are such food centric cultures !!! Navigating the best I can.

Oh, nothing like coming in at the 11th hour into a stress pit! So, so sorry. I know how it can be the last week of school - especially with a tough group of teachers.
Navigating the best you can is all you can do. Believe me, I just lived it. That was all I could do, too!
Positive thoughts coming your way!
Hello fab family! I'm at 113. Food is off point due to getting the house ready for our summer sublease but generally keeping a lid on things. Funny thing though - I transferred my old behaviours onto DH, insisting he buy extra sweets because they were such a good deal. Weird how that core stuff busts out.
Bottom line though is that I'm protecting my skinny! It means so much to me. The vast majority of moments of soothing with food just aren't worth it, right? Mantra for my day!
Vet visited yesterday and Bailee has a clean bill of health to travel, including border crossing. He has lost a little weight too, soon closing in on 18 pounds. His hind end is stiffening up, so weight control/loss is more important than ever.
We are making excellent progress with our preparations, so we should be ready to go on Wednesday as planned. Only slight worry is there's some exterior lighting that's not working on the RV so hopefully we can solve that mystery.
Have a great Friday!

131 today so the elevator dropped half a floor. Didn't eat that much as I did not have to make hubby a dinner. His colonoscopy today went fine. Much better than the last one 5 years ago when he was SMO. Dr. hadn't seen him since the last one and was pleased.
Amazingly, we were gone 5 hours and puppy didn't poop in her pen.
Kairk I hope all goes well for your dear doggie. I am sending messages of well being in dog language.
I had to get up earlier than usual and while its always very hard for me to come to life in the morning, once I did it wasn't half bad. Note to self: get up earlier. Now for a nap.
