Good Morning !!

132.2.   down four overnight. That was traumatic !! I now know how deeply passionate I am about being able to say I've lost more than I weigh. Whatever the reason for the gain, not being able to say that, even by a pound, was absolutely NOT acceptable to me. So, I now know.... no matter what doctors want, no matter what the fat percentage....135 is my absolute limit. I can't accept anything above that.

Long story... but I have been legally separated for nine years. I left an emotionally abusive, bankrupt marriage as soon as my youngest graduated from HS. My girls' paternal grandfather passed away mid week. My priority was to provide emotional support for my daughters. My ex didn't want me involved in any way. The girls didn't want to upset their father. I navigated providing background support to the girls (shuttling, talking, hugs) void of the grieving process with the family. I was married for 27 years.

Tomorrow, the first real event in being recognized for my legacy as the "this is the last time I'll ever do this" part of my countdown to retirement in December really kicks in. Twenty-five years ago, I began a Flag Day tradition at the intermediate school I started out in. I've been asked to be a guest speaker tomorrow, and anticipate some "surprises".

160.3# broken record until it's not...lol I'm working out today with my trainer, three meetings at school and finishing up the laundry.  Suppose to rain again. I might need a glass of wine after I'm done with all my meetings..heh!

Hi Guys,

No weight while I am at the conference.  Hotel room eating is still ok.  My fridge is stocked with VSG friendly foods.  I am glad that I decided not to pick up any nuts because I wanted "something" last night that was higher calorie and salty.  Had they been in the room, I would have done a lot of damage.

I did eat at that restaurant I liked last night.  It's allure is these are the foods that I love....all forms of plants prepared in fancy, fun ways.  As I enjoyed it, I felt so HEALTHY eating them but in reality these were the foods that I gained so much weight on.  High carb, good fats, higher calories that I am used to these days.  No protein to speak of but I had taken care of that earlier in the day.     The restaraunt focus is on ingredients and the portions were reasonable esp since I skipped the tortillas.  10/10 for enjoyment.  I did have a partial piece of dessert which I would give a 6.5 out of 10.  Easy to eat just partial piece.  And, that was that.

Gonna get down to the gym before conference regististration and the evil continental breakfast (I will have already had something in my room.)

DianeO, enjoy your send-off!  Glad you water weight is improving.

Well, Hells Bells, everyone seems so damned chipper this morning. A little Monday Magic in the air, ladies?????

Today is the first official day of my summer break. Naturally, Ace (he is the puppy I am keeping) decided that he needed to rouse me at 6:00 as he and his siblings needed to go outside to relieve themselves. So I finally arose and did my duty and got up at 6:40 or so, took them out, fed them, scooped poop, washed their breakfast dishes and promptly hopped back in bed and dozed on and off until just before 9:00 am! My teeth have not been brushed and I'm sitting like a slob in my boxers and a tee shirt sipping coffee. I believe this is just what the doctor ordered!

Today is detox day. I went through the fridge first thing this morning and rid it off offending items. I found a GINORMOUS cinnamon roll and promptly filled the plastic bag with water from the tap. RUINED! Hehehe.

Ron's approach to detox is a bit alarming and defeatist. I'm clearly going to have to take lead on this for him. He was seriously going to drink water for three days because it would be easier than having to figure out what he could and could not eat. Sheeeeesh! It's not like we haven't done this before.

Weight same as yesterday, which is perfectly acceptable. I need to drop this extra 10 to get back to a comfort zone. I have an honest inkling that it is possible now. I don't feel like I'm having to walk a thin line just to keep myself from imploding or exploding.

Here's hoping the Magic of this Monday touches us all.

Hello everyone!  I'm at 112 again, so that's a blessing.  Busy busy day, starting to get organized for the sublet and living in the RV!  Long 'to do' lists, but at least there are lists to work from, right?

Dashing off, but wanted to say a quick hello.
