160.8# So, I'm back down but need to see the 50's. My body is fighting this. I'm gonna fight back with 5 minutes on the stair stepper, 40 minutes on the elliptical and strength training with my trainer!!! You know, if I could keep this up during school my weight would be golden. I need to figure out balance.
My day will also include hair color/cut, tending to my raised bed and dinner with friends. Yesterday, I sautéed squash, zucchini (from my garden) and onions. Amazing!!!
I love summer!!
Hoping that each of us can take a moment to plan and prepare for whatever the day brings!

160 point something this morning.
I could really care less--horrible abdominal cramps last night. I was writhing! I never really had any stomach issues before VSG. Could eat whatever. Now horrible heartburn, diarrhea, lactose intolerance, bloating, etc. It felt an awful lot like my galbladder attacks, but I had that out 2 1/2 years ago. So either it's something else with a similar pain, or what I thought was my galbladder attacking before wasn't (although I did need to have that sucker out--ultrasounds confirmed it was inflamed). I deal with stomach issues a couple times a week now, but usually it's just mild discomfort from eating the wrong thing--usually veggies do the trick. I know this is all probably TMI but just keeping it real. Unfortunately there are so many things that could be the problem with "abdominal cramps" symptom. I had a salad for lunch yesterday, and my stomach got irritated shortly thereafter. But it was manageable. But by the end of the day, my stomach was SO BLOATED and my skirt felt so tight. And I guess I was holding myself awkwardly because pain referred to my back. DH and I met for ****tails (I had a champagne ****tail) and we had a cheese plate. By the time I got home (about 8) the pain was almost unbearable. it had gotten much worse (usually the lettuce cramps go away). I had a heating pad, was lying flat, but the stomach cramps were so bad, and my back bad too. Finally I was able to get to sleep lying flat in bed with my heating pad and eating some crackers and 7up. So I have two theories: the earlier-in-the-day lettuce bloating is unrelated to this later episode of something horrendous. Or my stomach was already bloated from the uncooked veggies, and then my lactose intolerance kicked in bad with the cheese. But normally I can get away with milk products like cheese, or a little coffee creamer. It's normally only noticeable if I were to eat ice cream, or drink a glass of milk. Sometimes a latte too heavy on the milk. Sorry to bore everyone. Just wondering if anyone has a similar experience.
Today's plans will be dependent on tummy. I may have to go for a BRAT diet or something. My tummy feels "angry" at me this morning. Not hurting so much, but like it could change its mind at any point. I used to be able to eat anything. And I'm a foodie. The idea of cutting back on raw foods and cheeses hurts. But not nearly so much as those stomach pains!

Yeah summer is great and the sun is out here today on the often foggy north coast. Good thing because family members are flying in to San Francisco and its a mess there if foggy. Mess there anyway. Then they are driving up here. The circus will start here about 9:30 pm.
Hey a great way to cook zucchini is to chop and steam it, then add some parmesan cheese and ma**** up with a potato masher and a good hit of black pepper.
BB so sorry for your pain. I used to have irritable bowel syndrome which caused a lot of cramping. Began early in my law career. Gradually faded away. Maybe you had a mild case of food poisoning. Raw veggies were hard on me too for a long time but not now and you are a ways out from surgery.
Well I am up to 131.5 for no known reason. Invisible gremlins must have been standing on the scale with me. Either that or inadequate "downloads".
Well the house siders are here and the pounding and drilling begins.
Keep at it everybody. Hubby is off to k mart. No telling what he will bring back. Will spend the day de-junking the house some more.
