Nice steps Carbon! Always impressive numbers!

128.6 Would like to be about 5 lbs. less. I know what to do but am having a hard time getting motivated to actually do it! Got boot camp in yesterday and feel the soreness today. Cloudy, grey day today - don't think I will exercise outside. Maybe I should re-center myself with some yoga - sound good Shel?

Two grad parties today. Going to try and have a zero junk food day today. Might have to bring a protein bar with me to the parties to ward off the dessert/salty snack monster that has been following me around these days.

Yes, some yoga sounds good :)

I don't know if you ever set an intention to go along with the breathing?  I was quite resistant to doing it in the beginning but have found it helpful over time.  Maybe something like I-am-healthy or I-am-at-peace.  I do find that if I use one that is snarky (I-will-stop-eating-pistachios) that I feel even more snarky at the end and it doesn't feel very good.

I think having a plan for the graduation parties is perfect  You can actively manage the situation and feel a lot better afterward. Think of how great you did at the women's retreat!

I have not tried setting intentions - I should. And you are right - I have been quite successful in the past (i.e women's retreat) and I CAN do this!

Hey Buddies!

122 on the dot!

Carbon, sorry for yesterday but you will get it turned around!  And, as always it seems, your steps were excellent!

Yesterday, I vinyasa'd  and got in a zillion steps.  Some of those steps were with Buster at a park that is built, in part, for horseback riding.  He did well with the horses;  no barking or lunging at them.

On the docket today is paddleboard yoga (beautiful day for it, too) and continuing on the garden.  By "continue" I mean actually do something, not just think about it.

Oh, also from yesterday, my daughter (15.5 years old) had her first date!  They met up at the school for the school play.  No stress for me because they arrived and left separately.  Boy seems nice.  My daughter was on cloud 9 afterward.

Have a great day, Shel

Paddleboard yoga sounds like so much fun. I think I need to take a vacation and visit you - could do Dexa, yoga, climb mountains! Fun!

Sweet story about the fist date.

Come on out!

You could probably start a paddle board class of your own! You know, in your spare time. ;)

Hi

Sister in law is in renal failure and going on dialysis. Not good. I fear the worst. We are headed down to the hospital. Prayers appreciated. Hubby is very close with her.  diane s

Well hell, a little more investigation reveals SIL not quite as bad off as she told us. She is very prone to exaggeration. Staff thinks its best to let her rest  so we will go see her later. Still its a serious situation.

Have a day of rest all. You have earned it.   Diane s
