Heading to visit Chuck for a formal dinner I had the pleasure of purchasing a size four gown for. We'll see how being apart has impacted things. I am planning in the calories for fresh strawberry shortcake.
128 even today.
Have a great day, all !

Happy Shel's One Year Yoga Anniversary!
I tell ya what, thinking about that very first yoga experience and how what impact it has made over the last year is a bit emotional. I started with many private classes before I attempted to go to a group class. I remember almost giggling when she said "go ahead and sit on the mat." Just a few months earlier it would have been hard to maneuver down and can't even imagine getting back up.
When I went to my first group class, I opened the door, saw other people there already on mats which un-nerved me to the point that I didn't even cross the threshold. I turned around and walked back to the car. I am glad I pushed thru all of that.
Paula, like you, I have been spending less time with my precious yoga as more time is enjoyed outdoors.
DianeO, impressed that you buy gowns. And of course it is a tiny gown!
DianeS, I would want to hide under my many comforters/blankets, too. Would bring Tesla up with me.
Devon, can't wait for more info on your meditation Sunday. (At first the pharmacist in me typed medication Sunday which sounds kind of pleasant, too)
To the rest of you, I have read all of your posts with great interest but a faulty memory.
About facebook, I am ashamed about my ZERO posts. I am total lurker. But, I am inspired by all of you so maybe I will post SOMETHING.
Today I will start with a quick garden weed, made easier because the weeds are so tall. Then morning yoga, then I am taking Buster to a park I haven't been to. The park is popular with urban horse-riders so that will be interesting. Might need to have some sort of training collar with me just in case Buster goes wild with the scent of horse poop. I still have oddly fond memories of my beloved Annie LOVING being around horses. If there was horse poo nearby she should would strain on the leash so she could revel in it, preferably flinging herself down into it.
Have a lovely Sat. Maybe do a down dog in honor of Yogaverisary. Always ok to substitute your own dog into the pose, of course. Shel
Edited to add 123.1

Good morning!
Diane, hope your formal dinner goes well! I'm sure you will look "simply mahvelous, darling" in your gown!!
Paula, have fun at the graduation parties. Tis that time of year!
Didn't weigh this morning, and have already eaten and had my ginourmous coffee! Ate out again last night, which I need to cut back on as I eat more calories and carbs that way.
It's just the younger one and me for the day. Jay went off to his mom's (2 hours away) to install air conditioners and other projects his mom needs done. The older one is off to Boston for a Red sox game - I am sooooo jealous!!! Trying to get much needed projects done around here. Cleaned the bathroom ceiling of mildew from too many teen and pre-teen scalding showers and no fan. Spraying Kilz on the ceiling, then painting with a mildew resistant ceiling paint. We also will call the electrician to install a fan ASAP. I have a window fan with exhaust in the meantime, if I can get the kiddos to remember to put it on! I have some planting to do after the sun moves late this afternoon/early evening, while the younger one is off to an end of the year party for her after school program. I like the solitude of a couple of hours to myself, so I'm looking forward to that. Tomorrow is the annual church picnic, following recognition of graduating seniors, church school kids, and teachers. Right after that is baccalaureate at the high school. Can't believe my beautiful first born is already graduating from high school and will be off to college in just a few weeks! Lots of emotions churning - but I'm all good with it hough!
Anyway, I've rambled on enough.... Have a great Saturday!
Hugs, Mary
Hi skinnies
Visited sister in law in hospital. She is really sick. Hubby will go see her today. Gotta go to the art gallery and work this morning and then take care of her cat. Hope I can sell some art. Its overcast today which is not a good sign.
Puppy Tesla has learned the trick of grabbing the end of the toilet paper and running through the house. Nothing is safe.
Yay Shel on your yoga devotion. Such a great activity. Right now I am a professional dog maid and live in a kennel. Still wrestling with plans for Mother and crazy friend.
Lets declare this "be kind to yourself and others" week and that does not mean eating junk. Got some shrimp and quinoa salad at costco and its quite good. full of veggies and not much dressing.
Diane O I love that you bought yourself a "gown" and not just a dress. Hope its a great time.
Up a pound. Think I am full of you-know-what. diane s
