Happy Hump Day !!!

I think I'll be able to fit a swim in after work ! My pool finally made it above sixty five degrees !

126.8 this morning.  I am going to go with my intuition and my California "energy vibe" and work WITH my body. I refuse to force a weight gain. I like how I feel when I eat under my sleeve. I know I agreed to 129 as my low number, but I think 126 is just as good. Back to 126-131 goal range. Feeling good about it, and listening to my body.

Have a great day, working with your body, and staying the course. Positive energy to ALL.., especially those dealing with difficult family situations, lack of sleep, uber energetic puppies, etc.

It is 3:30 am and eyes wide open.    Every fibre in my body wants to get up and bake, vacuum or do laundry but that would make me exceedingly unpopular.

Calories yesterday were 712 and steps 11898.

Enjoy this Wed.

Good morning friends!

Diane, sounds like you had a wonderful trip!  I feel your "energy vibe" intensely!

Carbon, lack of slepp sucks big time - I feel for you, as I've had my share of sleepless nights.  Hope it gets better soon!

Once again, my weight was the same this morning - doing a great job maintaining, but not with losing.  I did have (and immensely enjoyed, I must say!) a sf frozen yougurt with berries, nuts, a tiny bit of granola and whipped cream last night.  My youngest had her spring 5th grade chorus concert, and we went out after with her BFF and BFF's mom for frozen yogurt.  I'm not feeling guilty about my indulgence, as it was planned and did not trigger me to eat more when I got home.

I'm still on the mend from my bout of bronchitis.  My energy level is almost back to normal.  The cough continues, which is a giant pain, in the you know where, but it is very slowly subsiding each day.  I'm grateful that I was able to work all day yesterday and go out last night without being totally wiped out!  I'm hoping to get some real work done around the yard and the house this weekend.  We have a big bash on the 4th of July, and we are no where near ready for it.  There are also some plans every weekend, so I need to work smart by getting some things done every night.  Dance is over for the summer, and it's now staying light out until 8:30 or 9, so I can get things accomplished.  Grilling our dinner also has made that part of the evening simpler and easier, freeing up more time and energy.

Have a great first day of June!

Hugs, Mary

Isn't it great how the extra day light keeps you moving?  I can finish up a walk at 9:30 now with some light still available.  I can't wait to experience Alaska's summer daylight hours!  What does one do with all those hours?  Can't wait to find out.  (Hopefully the answer isn't "make cookies."

Whenever I hear about the Alaskan summers, I can't help but remember an episode form the old show "Northern Exposure", set during the Alaskan winter.  People were wearing daylight headlamps to get the needed sunlight to fend off SAD, but one person went too far and needed an intervention to take away the headlamp, as he was becoming too energetic.  They dealt with a realistic, serious issue in the funniet way!  I miss that show!

Shel, I'm sure you'll be able to find constructive things to do during the extra daylight, without making cookies!  LOL :)

Is it already Wed?

125.4 today.

The most important thing to know is that my hair color was fixed yesterday without fuss or cost and a minimum of time.  My axis is stabilized.

3 nights of good sleep.  Look out world!

QOTD:  who do I think I am kidding when I buy bags of rice crackers at Trader Joe's "for my daughter?"  Honestly, there is no where they can live in house or even car trunk without me getting into them.  Out to the garage they go!

May everyone find their energy vibe today!

Shel

You mean I'm not the only one who buys things "for my daughter, husband, etc."?  Oh the lies we tell ourselves!
