126.8 - better again. 1600 total calories (322 from junk). 189 carbs, 63 fat, 122 protein. 60 minutes of walking and 12,093 steps.

Parade at 10 and then a Memorial Service at the Elementary School. My older boys will sing in the choir and the oldest will also march with the HS band. No real plans after that but the weather looks nice today!

For those of you who have off today, enjoy the Holiday! Thank you to all that have served our country!

Paula

Yes, thanks to all of you that have served our country!

126.0 today

If I had completely filled out MFP yesterday, the WHOA and no nutritional value categories would have been much higher than usual.  Similar to Devon from a few days ago, I hit flat out exhaustion.  Sadly, no litter of puppies here. But, I have been working thru the weekends, amped up my daily steps, and mostly kept up with my yoga.

But, my sleep didn't keep up. When Devon commented the other day that it felt good to get 5 hours of sleep, I could relate.  I want to get 7 hours, but increasingly count 6 hours as enough.  And, it simply isn't.

Yesterday,  I worked for several hours and came home a mess.  I felt flat out awful, inside and out. I rallied to get to a gentle yoga class late in day which seemed to reset me physically and emotionally.  With DH hounding me, I went to bed early instead of trying to salvage my steps. (I ended up with only 2000 for the whole day!)

Last night I clocked in 9 hours of sweet, deep sleep.

Oh, another thing.  Had a cut/color on Saturday.  I had to use different people because of scheduling and both the cut and color stink! I can't live with the color, it is going to be redone on Tue.

Have a good day!  I think I am ready for a nap.

Shel

Happy Memorial Day!  A big thanks from me, as well, for all who have served our country!

Weight the same this morning.  Weekend eating was overall good, but I tend to eat a bit more in calories and carbs when not in my daily routine, so being the same weight as Friday was a good thing.  Back to the routine today.  I'm working today.  Our office is open, though as a director, I have the option to take the day off.  I took days off for recital and being sick, so I felt I should work, so here I am.

Paula, have fun walking in the parade.  It's raining here, so many of the parades around here have been cancelled.

Carbon, I know your steps were a lot fewer than you usually do, but I still think they were impressive!

Shel, lack of sleep and working lots extra is so difficult!  For me, staying in sync with my eating seems to be the first thing that suffers.  I hope things improve soon!  I hate when my hair doesn't come out the way I like, so I really feel for you!

Shel, thanks for the kind and generous critique of my dancing!  :)  You and Devon had the right person - the one with short dark hair, second from the left in the 3rd row.  Did you see the really tall girl near me - at the beginning diagonally behind me and at the end in front?  That's my older daughter, Laura.

Have a good day everyone!

Hugs, Mary

Oooh, running off to watch your daughter in a second.

I probably will go into work for a few hours some time today.  I am THIS CLOSE to being totally caught up....I think it might be worth it.  I could work from home but am more productive with the equipment at work. I want to pound it out and get it done.   Maybe you don't have to work the full day?  Your staff, I am sure, appreciates the director coming in on the holiday.

Shel, glad to hear the end is in sight!  I don't blame you for wanting to just get it all done.  Hope it goes quickly and smoothly!

Morning everyone! Yes I've been AWOL for a couple of days - super busy with RV stuff, will be again today. But it's coming together! I'm at 114 from tons of salty take out style food over the weekend. And I succumbed to popcorn one night too, damn it. So salt salt and more salt.

Adding the pics from FB that someone asked about. Some of us have connected there and I'm loving the additional glimpse into your lives. If others here are interested in connecting on FB, search Linda Spencer Calgary. The pic I'm posting of me here is now my profile one.

Hi all

My thanks to all you veterans out there and all who gave their lives for us.  My only uncle was one of them. I bet we all have family and friends touched by one of the many wars of this century. Lets all pray for peace.

Linda the rv and Mickey look like fun and you look so cute. Shel hope you get caught up and that everyone gets to relax today.

We are going over to friends for a little cook out which will be a food mine field. I am still at 131 today pretty solidly.

Still problems with my mom's care service and her crazy roommate who is losing her memory.

We still live in puppy nation. Our lives revolve around her but she is so dang cute. She takes a long evening nap so she can launch into orbit at bed time.

Well I gotta make stuff for the pot luck. Sugar snap peas with mushrooms and cheese crisps.  No telling what dangerous dips and desserts with be there.   Its clouding over so not sure if we will get rain.   Have a great day all.  Diane S
