Sunny SoCal Morning Friends !
Am really missing Sadie... love hearing the puppy stories. I'm mastering chop sticks, and am transitioning from su****o sashimi. Love not dealing with the rice. I'm happy with my food, and thrilled with my activity level. Very curious to see how my weight will shake out after the flight back and water retention subside.

I switched from su****o sashimi years ago and haven't looked back. I know that rice isn't itself a bad food esp in limited quantities. But, with sashimi I have both a feeling of good health and absolutely no regret.
I bet you are missing Sadie. Yesterday I was thinking that maybe we could take our dogs with us to Alaska in the RV. Probably the world's worst idea. Buster, for one, tends to get car sick. Bears. Moose. Wild animals. Tho he hasn't destroyed anything major for years, Buster does a history of chewing holes in walls and one day he totally tore apart a loveseat. Yes, world's worst idea but hate being away from them for 2 weeks.
I am not a Reiki master but always feel that the light is somehow different in CA. Enjoy!

124.4 today, up quite a bit from yesterday just to keep me on my toes.
Didn't yoga yesterday so have to get in a class today. Good walk yesterday, just barely squeezed in before daylight entirely gone.
Have a lovely Sunday,
Shel
Oh! MARY! I watched your video and it is fabulous. Such a big group and everyone was in sync. What a fun number! I watched it twice, the first time not knowing which one was you. The second time I focused on you :) and you totally rocked. You have moves! You looked great, too. Memory maker for sure.

Well, good point! I don't know for sure, for sure.
The gal I have in mind is in the 2nd row, 3rd from the left when there are only two rows in the very beginning. Shortly after that, they spread out then it looks more like 3rd row (mid-way) but 2nd from left. And yes, short dark hair is what I looking for, too.
I think we are talking about the same groovy chick.

We had a wonderful puppy party! I was busy with pups and the evaluations of the pups so I did not eat any appetizers. I stuck to heavy protein at lunch and did not over eat. Until....
We had pound cake with strawberries and blueberries and ice cream. I had a serving and then that sort of triggered me. Ron ate sooooo much during the party he didn't want dinner, so I tried to forgo, too, but ended up having to eat. It wasn't until I realized I was sort of grazing that I decided to sit down and make myself a proper meal.
Scale still down. Have no idea what the damage is from the past couple days of loose eating. I believe I know why the scale is down, too. The Blue collared puppy now called Moose peed on it! I think some urine got into the works and killed it. I will try replacing the battery first, but if that doesn't work it's off to get a new scale! Sort of funny - death by puppy pee!
While we didn't get the new pen set up yesterday, I got enough sleep to feel rested. Pups woke up at 3:30, so I took them out and we played until 4:00. They settled quickly back down and slept and so did I until about 6:30. Then they quieted down and we slept some more and all got up at 7:45. I call that a good night!
Lots on the docket today - 2 dogs to groom and 87th birthday dinner for my oldest's friend's dad (a retired MD who certainly fixed me up a few times after childhood bike crashes and a certain unsupervised candle making incident when I was 4 or 5, and best of all the man who saved the tip of my thumb after it was severed in a car door).
Linda - I love the pic of you, DH, the Mouse Mobile and the 5th wheel! You are all set for adventure. I am VERY fond of the even shorter hair cut. It's very flattering!
BTW - I picked my puppy - Green Boy will be staying here! I'm very happy.
