Good afternoon all! As I wrote in response to Linda, I've been constipated for a couple of days now and feel full and bloated. The scale was up about a lb, but I'm sure it's because of this situation. I have had take out food for a couple of meals, but have been trying to make healthier choices, though the fried chicken wings probably weren't the best bet last night! Hmm... maybe it's not the constipation as I've convinced myself it is. Also being out of my usual routine tends to wreak havoc on my GI system.
Today has been a little off emotionally. Work issues are wearing me down. I usually go with the flow, but today I needed to call DH with my office door shut and talk to him about what's going on, just to vent, which was helpful.
Recital week continues. I got to see my two best girls dance on stage yesterday. They both did a great job! Tonight my oldest and I have our jazz practice. It's so different being on stage from being in the studio, but lots of fun. Luckily, that class is the only one any of us have today, and it's not until 8:15, so I can make dinner at home - no take out!
Have a great rest of your Tuesday!
Hugs, Mary
There are really good reasons we get paid for our work. Hugs

Hang in there on the work issues. I feel your pain. I have to deal with all the end of school year BS the admin sends down to the teachers do in addition to report cards, assessments, etc... Many of us believe those at the DO have been out of the classroom far too long! (no offense meant Diane O. We have a director of curriculum *****ads Lucy Calkins for pleasure reading! Nuff said!)
Thanks Devon! Like you, it has to do with how the administration operates. I feel micro-managed, almost mistrusted, and also feel that they make up their minds about how something in my program should be, before asking for my input, so when I give my input, it is many times disregarded, even though I'm the director of the program, and my program is doing well and growing. They have every right to say how things are run, in their company, but their style of management and mine are vastly different. I know I'm not being singled out, as all of the directors are managed in the same way, but it feels like I am some days. I've known this, but some days it's harder than others. Today was definitely one of those days! Hope your end of year stuff is bearable this year!
164.1 After bouncing up and down over the weekend.
I much prefer when things are exactly linear (but when are they ever?) Moving in the right direction, though I wi**** were faster. Phooey.
Much stress on the work and home fronts - my High Schooler is approaching finals week and there is much gnashing of teeth at our house. Trying not to eat through it, but boy is that tough sometimes! Chanting and yoga are great but not in an open office.... haha.
I cleared out my desk and have an emergency Quest Bar hidden away where I can get to it but not where I will come across it - that has helped. Somehow knowing I have something there makes dealing with being hungry much easier, and makes eating more of a decision than a default.
Have a wonderful rest of your Tuesday!

Late to the party. Don't like being this busy. 125.2 today. I got 25 minutes on the treadmill at lunch then had a grumpy patient because I was 3 minutes late for his appointment - geez!
Work again tomorrow - another busy day ahead of me. Low 60's for weather but it promises to warm up by the weekend.
Son #1 turns 18 on Saturday. Where did the time go? I remember vividly giving birth to him not more than 5 years ago!
Love to you all!
