123.4 today - down. I then promptly overate! No so much because I was down, not really sure why. I had all my calories in BEFORE dinner, but of course still ate dinner. I have a snack that I can't keep to a healthy serving size, so it will have to go. Bye, bye Nut Exactly from Costco! I'm reconsidering the peanuts I snack on too. Too many calories for the little I get. I could eat 2 yogurts with berries for the same caloric level! I did get a good 30 minute walk in at lunch today.

Hmmmmmm, tolerance. Something to think about!

I do much better with almonds than peanuts. Something about the peanuts makes them go down so easily! Trader Joe's carries a lightly salted roasted almond that I like a lot. 75 calories for 1/2 oz serving. IF you need that nut crunch it might work for you.

I used to eat almonds but my NUT told me peanuts had more protein, but I agree with Devon - they go down too easy!

To me, they're both made up of primarily fat so I don't consider either of them a protein rich food. Consequently I never eat them for extra protein.  Six of one, half a dozen of the other, so to speak.

True! Much more fat then protein. BTW - I have added Quest bars to my daily eats as of late (usually for breakfast) and they have really upped my protein intake!

Have you found any of the flavors a trigger? Sometimes the White Chocolate Raspberry is a trigger for me. I am careful when and where I eat those.

Not really. So far my favs have been the double chocolate chunk and apple pie. Just had a pumpkin pie (coated) one and it wasn't very good and more caloires!

Hated the pumpkin !!  I alternate between Quest bar and Primal Kitchen chocolate almond protein bars ($$$$)  for breakfast, on the drive to work at 6:20 AM ,  a mid-morning snack/lunch at 9:30 ish and an afternoon yogurt with a scoop of protein and nuts at 1:30 ish.  Those two protein sources, along with my protein forward lunch and dinner enable me to hit my protein target.
