Puppies make everything better! My heart goes out to you. It's hard what you're dealing with. I dealt with my mom's pancreatic cancer and her decline. It was hard.

Diane, you're in my prayers!

I've noticed a lot of us have been struggling the for a few past days, either with eating and/or unexplained weight increases,  with relief yesterday and today.  I really wonder if the full moon that just occured had anything to do with our struggles, or was it just coincidence.

191.  Did well yesterday, then last night I ate a quarter of a sleeve of saltines.  smh  I had a sore throat which is why I started to eat them, but it was stupid, I realized it and kept eating them because they were there.  No more food allowed in the tv room because I cannot be responsible with it.

Today was our employee appreciation luncheon so I was planning to have a dessert if any appeared to be worth it.  There were tons of goodies, pastas, breads, etc., etc.  I took some chicken marsala, grilled chicken Caesar salad, and 2 shrimp.  I skipped lots of favorites but did not feel bad because what I took was so good.  The server highly recommended the little cheesecakes and used the magic words, "they're worth it".  She was so right.  It was so good that I had to throw it away before I ate more than I planned.

OH continues to hate my posts today. Will see if this posts:

Sleep was an issue again last night. Pups were hungry. Blue is doing the best she can with their little needle teeth, but she can't tolerate the discomfort for too long. She's managing about 10 minutes. This is not nearly long enough to fill these little puppy beasts and so they get hungry quickly. So, I was awakened at 2:30 with crying pups. Got Blue in the box and she fed them and hopped out about 10 minutes later.

Pink, however, was not done. She climbed out of the box and followed the mobile milk bar to its parking place and sidled up and continued her meal. Was awfully cute and I snapped a pic. Her quiet determination is inspiring. Her focus was single. She was unhindered by the obstacles in her way. She figures out a way to surmount them and reach her goal. In this case a full tummy! There is a lesson in her actions.

Then the big boy pup was colicky and constipated and cried until I got him to poop. Then he was fine. Got back to bed at 3:00ish. Repeated this scenario at 5:30 and dozed off until 6:20 and then got up.

Going to try to give the pups mush tonight and see how well it goes. Might get them to sleep through the night if their tummies are full.
