124.8 - down and I'm not sure why. Might be a little dehydrated. No exercise yesterday but will have something on tap for today.
Crazy weather here in WI. Snowed yesterday and it is supposed to be 70 this weekend. That is a good thing because I am camping - in a tent - with the scouts Saturday night. We will have a good hike that day and will be eating military "MRE's" on the trail. I'll pack a Quest bar as I'm not sure of the nutritional value of the typical MRE (Meal Ready Eat). I'll pack my usual breakfast of yogurt, fruit and nuts too as I think they have cinnamon rolls planned.
Day off today. More cleaning and getting ready for a scrapbooking weekend with the ladies next weekend. Lots to organize for that one. I usually go to a "scrapping retreat" twice a year but didn't make it at all last year, Spring one due to my VSG and Fall due to the 2 older boys getting their wisdom teeth out. Looking forward to the 4 days away with a bunch of ladies but a little worried as the weekend is very food/treat indulgent centric. I will have to formulate my plan of attack prior to the weekend!
Terrific Thursday to you all!

Good Morning Food as Fuel Friends !
Loving the weight and weather trends !!! Slowly transitioning Sadie from Purina Pro Sport to the senior version of Purina Pro as she will have severely restricted activity for 6-8 weeks after her CCL surgery. Monitoring weight and activity and making corresponding adjustments isn't limited to humans !!
Stay the course, my friends !!!

Poor Sadie. Not only does she have to endure surgery but she has to go on a diet too :-(. Nah I'm kidding. It will definitely make her recovery easier.

Good morning!
122.0 today. Got yoga in yesterday but no dedicated walk. We are in for some nice weather here as well. Hoping for both Yoga and a walk today. My husband offered to go hiking this weekend so big Yay for that! No MRE's for us!
Paula, the 4 day scrapping retreat sounds epic. I am sure many of the other ladies are also worried they are going to leave the retreat with more of themselves than they walked in with. As a society, we have gotten so trained in the food/treat indulgence that it is hard to break and no one wants to feel like they are the food party pooper. Maybe your thinking ahead with different food choices and maybe even activity will provide others with some relief as well. Good Luck!
Have a lovely Thursday,
Shel

Bonnie, not sure if this applies to you, but I have to do something consistently to start the scale moving in the other direction. For example, if I'm slowly gaining and I want to lose, I have to follow weight loss behaviour consistently every day, at least for a few weeks, to get the trend shifting in the other direction. After my body has strongly made that shift, it will keep going in that new direction, as long as I'm following weight loss behaviours most of the time.

Yes I think it does. But my body and brain are in a conspiracy to make me fat again. And whenever I don't see immediate results my brain says "see. There's nothing you can do. And what a shame. After all that work and you actually gained weight. You're probably better off eating more."
And occasionally it seems logical :(
114. Not a bad number but my choices have been loosey goosey for a week and too many fridge and cupboard drive bys. Time for me to take things back to normal.
Feeling better today and finishing up my latest batch of Greek yogurt. A small hole sprung in my strainer and it's been getting slightly bigger so will have to find a way to mend it because I've been losing a surprising amount of yogurt through it. Stuck some plastic wrap through it today and it's going better.
Paula - camping? Sleeping on the ground??? Good on ya Gurl!
