I slept about 12 hours!  Not feeling 100% today physically or emotionally. Hopefully not coming down with something.

Beautiful day here though so might just spend some time enjoying the sunshine on the patio with the fat cat.  Speaking of fat, some very well fed robins are splashing in our bird bath out there!  And our cat is so chubby they aren't afraid of him.  Even they know there's no danger lol.  Reminds me of how slowly I used to move too.

Wow! 12 hours! More than double what I got last night! Lucky you - though I hope it's not an indication of impending illness!!!!

tapering off. Sometimes that works better for me. Was able to talk some issues out with Ron last night. Things are better, but we're both still licking the wounds of misunderstanding. All will be gone - just part of marriage. 

Outdoor ed today. I'm sitting in the sun supervising. Here's where I go to work every single day. Pretty nice except for the rattlesnakes!

What a beautiful place to supervise outdoor activities... until you mention rattlesnakes ! Wow !  The puppies are just breathtaking ! I need a puppy fix !!!

For years and years we had only the occasional rattler come down to the school. I think I worked at the site for 15 or 16 years before ever seeing one. Now we have sitings multiple times each month. We believe the population boom can be attributed to several things: First a fire in the open space several years ago pushed snakes closer to the school. Next, the drought has made the school grounds attractive because there is some water from watering the ball fields, and third, we have an over population of ground squirrels that feast on student scraps - an attractive nuisance. 

They are creepy creatures, but they want little to do with us - just as we want little to do with them! 

What beautiful countryside! Pups are adorable - I wish I could come and visit!

Blue and her puppies are so beautiful!  I want so to smell that puppy breath so badly, and cuddle them until they fall asleep in my arms.  Puppies melt my heart and you are so lucky to be able to cuddle them every day.
