I wanted snow... I got snow ! We only got 6", but it was the worst driving of the season. On the positive side, I came home from work to 90 minutes of heavy shoveling... fabulous work out. The best part was that I didn't need to stop and rest !!!
129.8 today. I am not shocked, because I don't eat back exercise calories, and I may be a bit dehydrated, although I did drink 64+ oz. yesterday.
Have a wonderful day !

123.4 today. Did some stress eating regarding son #1 last night for sure. Tough times! Did get 30 minutes of exercise in at lunch. Skipped scouts to talk with son#1 but he just got mad so don't feel like much was accomplished.
Day "off" today...... voting, getting a cavity filled, shopping, housecleaning, and meal prep (we are hosting a potluck at our house tomorrow for bible study and I am also preparing a meal for the teacher family that lost their 18 month old). Also plan to get some kind of exercise in today. I think DH and I will try to make an appointment with son #1's counselor to see if he can gives us tips for communicating/dealing with him. So often it feels like we are walking through a mine field!
Tried my first Quest bar for breakfast this morning. It was only okay for me - would have preferred my usual yogurt with fruit and almonds. I had the white chocolate raspberry. A little too sweet while eating it and too much lingering fake sweet afterwards. I got a 12 pack sampler to try out different flavors.
Diane O - drink up today! Water and maybe even a glass of wine too since you dipped below the 130 mark!
Paula
Paula you seem to have an awful lot going on right now, so be sure to take some time to really nurture yourself.

Paula, I empathize with trying to communicate with a teen!. Sometimes, I've found, after some of my daughter's and my arguments, that I've hit a nerve and she comes back later, after processing what was 'discussed' and has realized some of the truth in what was said. I also do the same thing, as she hits nerves for me too, forcing me to look at her perspective. Oh the joys of being a parent to a teen! Sending big hugs! Mary
Sorry to hear you're not feeling your best. Hugs

Those viruses can take a long time to work through our systems! Hope you are able to get extra rest and be sure to keep your fluids topped up.
