124.6 - broke my steady streak! Since I work the weekend, we will celebrate Easter tonight. With salty ham and trimmings, I expect the scale to move upward before I see a downward trend again. No worries, I will stay within my range!

Kids have a 1/2 day of school today and then are home for Spring Break. We are not going anywhere as a family for the break but son #2 will have the band/choir trip to Disney the last part of it.

Lots of heart hurt on our board, I'm feeling it too. Stay strong skinny friends and continue to be kind to yourselves!

160.6 today.  I cannot tell if where my real weight is.  Will my real weight please stand up!!  I'll take it either way.  Hoping my real weight is actually somewhere in the 140s/150s and I'm just visiting 160 for the day.

Again yesterday my macros weren't very good.  But I did try to be very conscious about eating when I'm hungry and the "why".  Eating out is so difficult!  My DH and I met out yesterday for dinner to watch the NCAA basketball (my Sooners won, yea!).  We went to Rock and Brews and everything seemed so poor nutritionally.  They did have some salads, but salad hurts my stomach!  Maybe in the future I will just eat the steak off the steak salad.  Anyway, lots of burgers and pizzas.  Even their wings were fried, but I figured at least that's mostly protein.  My DH ordered app of chili cheese fries and I had a few of those and my drink (like I said--not great) but I was full after just a few bites.  I had one of my chicken wings and I looked pathetically at them, feeling guilty about needing to eat more.  After all, I had only had ONE.  And I ordered them.  And they were healthier at least than the few bites of cheese fries I had just had.  But no.  I boxed them up and took them home.  I may or may not eat them later.  Even though the fries and drink did not a healthy dinner make, I decided that the ONE principle I must adhere to is not eating when I'm full.  And so I did that and I think the scale rewarded me.

My husband has off today for Good Friday but I do not.  Although I may make it an early day and get the Easter groceries this afternoon.  Tonight is Good Friday service.  Might go out to eat beforehand.  So trying to keep in mind that dinner might be high on the calories, and therefore trying to be extra good breakfast-lunch.

TGIF Friends With Sacred Sleeves !

Have today off, so hope to  get a good walk in. Still have yet to make it to 7,500 steps.

I'm loving Linda's Vita Fiber ! I've been putting one tablespoon in my plain Greek yogurt, and it is fabulous!! It really increases the satiety!  I've also been having a cup of coffee with half and half around two. The difference in keeping me going and holding me over until dinner is amazing.

Couldn't decide between ham and lamb, so having both within the next few days. So far, have totally avoided Easter candy. Going out to dinner with friends and planning on enjoying dessert instead.

Congratulations on our first litter ! Come on Blue !

Enjoy your day !

Diane I'm glad you enjoyed the VitaFiber. I've grown to love it!  And realistically, I don't need a Quest Bar every day - a couple tablespoons of VitaFiber (with Miralax of course)  is really all I need to stay regular.

Hope you're successfully maneuvering your way through your troubles at home. Sending you strength and clarity. And hugs.

Good Morning!!!  Andy and I are off today...My sister-n-law spent the night last night and may again tonight if my nephew wins his baseball game.  Plans for the day include laundry, lunch out at a great salad/sandwich place, picking up lilies for our church, baseball game and hopefully dinner with friends.

Saturday includes a massage!  Sunday, of course is church.  We're playing the handbells and the choir is singing.  Then off to my parents for dinner.

I'm off Monday...planning a workout with my trainer.  I need to get back into an exercise routine.

Hope to hear about puppies, soon!

Happy Easter Weekend!

Happy Friday and Happy Puppies!

Diane S, I'm happy to post your puppy pics if you feel inclined.

122.7 today which is a relief since I have increased my daily calories the last 7-10 days, not always intentionally.  Some of that was when I was out of town which involved a lot of MFP guessing with unfamiliar foods.  (BB girl, I am always impressed by your comfort in navigating foods in restaurants.)  Since home, I have been eating about 1400-1500 kcal a day.  That feels like a lot.

I am rebelling against ham this year for Easter.  I have never loved it and since VSG I tend to not eat what I don't really love.  We don't do lamb for various reasons.

We have a fairly big hike planned for tomorrow.  Fingers crossed for good weather.  If I get out of work in time today (unlikely,) will take my 15 year old daughter to see Bernie Sanders tonight.

Sending positive vibes to all you skinny folk!

Shel

Hi Shel, my daughter is volunteering at the Bernie Sanders speech tonight, so I hope you can take your daughter tonight.  My DD volunteered over the weekend as well and had a great time, so she can't wait to see him again.  She also we going door to door in Tacoma, asking people to caucus tomorrow, so she is very involved in politics this year.

What fun for your daughter!  Unfortunately, I couldn't leave work early enough to go. I love the enthusiasm he is inspiring in these kids.

196.1 this morning. I'm pleased.

My sinuses are KILLING ME!!!! I woke up at 5:00 and didn't sleep much after that. Wish this blasted virus would hurry up and run its course!

Have a full day at school. Ron took today off for Good Friday services. I could not because I'll have to take time off next week for the arrival of the pups. Blue looks ready to burst. She is absolutely huge. She's not uncomfortable yet, though, so that's a plus.

Food has been on point. There are treats in the teacher's lunch room again, so I'm posting here instead during recess. My first instinct was to go down and see what was there. Rethought it and decided to post instead and drink my shake.

Trainer cancelled today. That's a good thing. I haven't worked out all week. I just have been too low energy with this cold. I have a tendency to push when I'm sick, so I'm trying to allow myself rest time. Against my nature, but I think it's helping.

Peace for the rest of your day!

Devon
