morning everyone on this first day of Spring ( it is the first day isn't it???)
Wendy, been there, done that and would suspect that many of us have fallen to sugar's siren call. But you have picked yourselves up and started all over again and that is what counts.
For me sometimes it is a minute by minute talking-to-myself as to why I don't want to eat the delight. And mostly it is because feel like crap afterwards, not only emotionally but also physically. My body seemingly does not like wheat and sugar but my mind screams for it.
First cutting of the grass this morning and then having a lazy day.
enjoy Sunday!
122.8 on the scale. Play week is now finished. Letting son #2 sleep to his heart's content today.
Mourning the loss of our Band Directors and his wife's 18 month old today. She passed Friday night. Both are teachers at our small High School and are very much loved by the community. They had 4 daughters Kindergarten on down to the 18 month old. So very sad. Still not sure of the cause...heard something about stroke and also about seizures with fever. Too much death as of late. Hug and cherish those that you love every day!
Church and then editing play pictures....should exercise but we'll see. A nap sounds good too.
Paula
So sad to read about the toddler's passing. Learning of a little one's death is always upsetting to me, even when I don't know the child. When a little one dies the tragedy of the passing is greatly amplified for me. I wish the teachers and their daughters much strength and courage to get through the next days and months. My heart is with them. So sad...
Oh my goodness Paula that's such a sad thing. This kind of tragedy is so hard to make sense of. Hugs

Morning all - happy Sunday. I'm down one to 113 today. Experiencing the normal fluctuations from 112-114 so the numbers don't give me any reason to pause right now.
Enjoying the sunshine - but way too early in the season for grass cutting here Carbon. Nevertheless, it looks like it might warm enough for DH and me to get the bikes out this afternoon :-). Some pre-season jitters in play, and not sure if there will be any residual effects from last year's end of season spill. Wish me well with that, please!

Good Morning.
I started the day with a phone call from Luxembourg. One of Blue's pups will be going to Luxembourg once she's old enough to fly internationally. We were making arrangements for the puppy's people to come in August. Was a bit humorous as the couple in Luxembourg speak Russian, French, German, and Luxembourgish, but no English. Luckily, I speak and understand enough German for us to get by, thanks to my mom speaking German to me even when I refused to answer in anything but English!
197.2 today. Can only assume I'm holding on to water from Friday's workout. My pecs are still super sore, as are my triceps, and my lats. My abs and legs are not that sore, which is surprising to me considering the beating they took.
Had a spot on food day yesterday. I still had some evening cravings, but they were less than Friday night. I know that part of my issue is transitions and going to bed or getting ready for bed is a transition. I often wonder what it would be like to be like my pop who eats dinner and then is done eating until breakfast. I have a desire to be that way, too. Tonight my goal is to not eat after I have my evening yogurt. I have several teas at the ready, should I need them. It's always something isn't it? Sigh....
Also, Ocean and Linda, hope my post on the main board did not offend. I felt the need to point out the inconsistency since the fellow was asking for advice that those who offered up eating portions were telling the fellow he was eating too much, but they themselves were eating close to the same amount.
Client at 10. Should be done by 1 and then will have the day free. Need to set up the whelping box and room and then I'd like to get a workout in.
Next....
So exciting to have puppies to look forward to! It's weird how those bits of language learning stay with us! I worked on learning some basic Spanish and was shocked at how I would often revert to my high school French words and pronunciation!
Just went back and looked at the post you referred to. No offense taken, no matter what - we're all learning here! But with that said, other than clarifying the math, weren't you still suggesting he had eaten too much and/or too fast? Or maybe I missed something else - wouldn't be the first time I did that! I'm a scanner reader, which means I sometimes miss stuff :-(
