The creeping crud has entered my house and isn't letting me go. I got home Saturday from Atlanta, Georgia, after two weeks of watching my granddaughters, 5 years old and 11 months old. It was probably inevitable that I would get sick. I've been hacking, sniffling, and blowing my nose since Satuday, and there seems to be no end in sight. The only thing that keeps me from coughing up a lung is taking liquid NyQuil and sucking on cough drops. The carbs are probably going to get me in the end, but right now, I can't live without them. Sugar free cough drops are out of the question, because they keep me running to the bathroom. Last time I used them I was flying to Florida and spent the majority of the flight in the head. Never want to repeat that again.
Not feeling well enough to weigh myself right now, but was 147.5 on Monday at the surgeon's office. That's just about what I weighed in high school, so feeling pretty good right now. It's below the surgeon's goal weight for me, so he is very happy and says it's an A+ result. My goal is 135, so only 12.5 pounds to go.
Once this crap is gone, life will be so much better.
