Saturday March 12

Hi all

Well no polka dot jeans for me but I must say they are dang cute. Ditto the sparkly shoes. When our niece was little she used to say her favorite color was "sparkly". 

129 today so thats good. Didn't sleep well last night and the phone has been ringing all morning with annoying stuff. Don't these people know I haven't had enough coffee to deal with them!!!

Yeah I hate the time conversion tonight. Phooey. Fortunately Hubby gets up early and obsessively resets all the clocks in the house. He only likes chores that involve electronics.  For years I had to get up when it was dark for school or work. I always considered it uncivilized. Grateful for retirement even though I have more to do than ever.

The rain seems to have let up so dogs will get a walk/ride today. 

I cooked a chicken breast last night with some pesto sauce.  It must have been a gigantic chicken as half of it was left over after two dinners. I have the feeling the dogs will benefit from the enormous chicken. RIP oh great chicken.   diane s

Late check in today. Sounds like you are all doing wonderfully sparkly shoes and all LOL. 

151 up 3lbs, I'm not fussed though I had a shingles vaccine last Friday a week ago and had a bad allergic reaction. So I have been on lots of meds all week to control it including prednisone (weight gainer drug); and no exercise. Most days I was lucky if I could stay awake for a few hours at a time. 

things have turned around for mr today. I managed to get a half hour run in today.  Best thing is it is the first outdoor Manitoba run of 2016. WHOOT WHOOT!!! I loved it. 

I am sure things will settle down this week an the extra 3 lbs will come off.
