Namaste fellow inhabiters of skinny karma;
Seems like we are all being very introspective today. Its a good thing. I think putting a lot of thought into this process before surgery helped enable me to do well. Some people kind of rush into it without really examining what it means for the rest of one's life. So many examples on the main vsg forum of this. Luckily I had the wisdom of being age 58 at the time of surgery plus delay plus having to fight plus having dr. Cirangle. All good astrological signs coming into alignment for me.
Its a rainy gloomy day and I slept late because I just felt like it. 129.5 today so its good to be off that icky number.
Yesterday ended up being a long dog walk day. I took the old girl out on a leash for a few blocks and she was really dragging. So I got out our new dog stroller and put her in it. She seemed to like it this time, realizing that she is out and about. Hubby had our other dog on a leash so we all walked together and I pushed the stroller. worked well and I got a fair amount of steps in. We looked like some kind of clown show.
Yep, fun kids can give you energy. I love listening to the kids classes at our pottery studio. They have so much fun. They don't know how lucky they are to get to do clay at a young age. Some of the charter schools contract with our studio for these classes. So good for spacial thinking.
Made taco salad last night without tortillas. Quite good. Tonight feels like a soup night. diane s
