I bought from a co-worker "for my boys" - yeah right. Gonna try to resist as much as I can. Maybe one Samoa and a few thin mints. Or if I don't have any, maybe I won't crave more. Decisions, decisions!

Hello Sacred Skinnies. Scale tipped back up to 113 tha morning.  I took a look at my longer term weight trend and found that informative. After steadily maintaining south of 115, there was a six month period where I was maintaining slightly north of that number. For the past few months I've been maintaining on the south side again so I'm patting myself on the back for that. Wasn't sure I could get back there, but that's my trend again.

Just returned from my first Foundations Yoga class. The instructor was very informative and the moves felt like the right level of challenge so I'm going to take it each Tuesday morning for now. I found the time 'long' but that was probably because everything felt so unfamiliar.

Happy Sunny Afternoon !

133's today.  Kairk... I did use your browse, sample a few, eat two approach.  It worked really well.  I focused in on protein, per my plan and ended up with totally satisfying and on plan choices.  My piece of cake was bigger than planned, and I didn't leave as much as I planned to when it was handed to me.  I did enjoy every bite, eating slowly.  I did NOT bring back "something for later" and am overall feeling pleased with how I navigated. Practice will make perfect.  Thanks all for the positive thoughts and suggestions.

I'll try to drink some extra water to flush some of the sugar !!

Sounds like a successful lunch! Planning and practice produces perfect poundage! Like that alliteration?

So glad that worked for you! It's nice to have that control and option, isn't it?!

Success!  As much as I know we have to be very diligent when it comes to carbs, even after WLS, I do love that within reason I have more control than I used to (yesterday's cookies notwithstanding).  It used to be that if someone brought a cake in, I'd have to eat a piece, or two, each day until it was gone.  Mostly now I can feel in control to have just a few bites as you did.  And that is a hugely successful feeling!  Congrats

122.0 today. Work a part day (which was extra for me - usually have Tuesdays off). Weather is beautiful at 64! A rare treat in WI! There is still some snow on the grass and everything is a dingy brown but I think I will put on my tennis shoes and take a walk outside for some fresh air!

Su****onight with my boys - yum and I had 1/2 seared ahi tuna salad for lunch. Lots of good healthy protein today!
