Scale up again today :(
I finally had to take a benadryl for allergies last night and man oh man did it knock me out cold. I went to bed at about 8 or 8:30, and woke up wanting more sleep at 6:30!
Still a lot of muscle soreness. Dag nabit! I agree Karik that it would be useful to work out the muscle soreness and maybe by tonight I will be able to. But even this morning wearing heels, I'm finding just walking to be difficult.
Today I will have lunch with a friend and take home leftovers for dinner.
allergies = inflammation
muscle soreness = inflammation
Don't worry about the little bit of extra weight. You know that if you follow your plan it will come off in a few days. One thing I have learned this year is that it's not always about the day to day, but rather the week to week and month to month. I have had 2 and 3 pound gains in a week over the past months, but still managed to lose at least 5 pounds every month that I was focused on losing weight - meaning I did not bother focusing on losing weight over the holidays. As hard as it may be in the moment, focus on your overall trend.
Good morning, Skinnies!
122.4ish today (my scale tracks to the 10th but my brain doesn't retain that extra digit very well)
Will definitely be getting to a formal yoga class tonight. I am looking forward to getting back into a usual routine.
have a great day, all!

195.5, so essentially the same as yesterday. This is good - an indication that this is a real weight, not just a drop in water.
Good cardio yesterday - 45 minutes, 3.7 miles (though now because of Carbon, I look at the number of strides, which was over 6000 for the 45 minutes yesterday).
Had my monthly session with the nutritional counselor. Went well. We are beginning to look at what my transition to "maintenance" will look like. Ooooooo, scary! HEHEHEHEHE. I laugh, but in a way it is scary. I'm very good at gaining weight and I'm very good at losing weight. However, maintenance is still very iffy territory.
One of my worries has been that as I lose more weight it will require fewer calories for me to maintain, which means fewer calories to lose, too. We agreed that going below 1000 calories for me at this point is not the best idea. So that is now my lower limit. I think that's low enough to continue to lose at a decent rate without even temporarily compromising the old metabolism as long as I continue with the exercise.
New mini goal: 190 with a target of sometime during the first week in April. I think that's doable, too.
Wishing everyone a terrific Tuesday! (We're working on alliteration in 3rd grade - can you tell???!!!!)
greetings skinnies
Well $$$$$$$eet. Up a half to 130. my dreaded number. Had Thai soup last night with coconut milk that was likely the full fat version. Stopped at the drug store yesterday to get a Quest bar for my gallery day and I swear all the Easter candy was singing to me. I didn't get any though.
Lots to do this week and none of it fun. taking tax stuff and insurance info to the gallery with me today as it will be a long day with probably nothing to do. I can only dust the picture frames so many times.
Grumble grumble growl growl, thats what I feel like today. At least the $120 eye drops seem to be working. diane s.
Reading the label a few years ago cured me of my Girl Scout Cookie cravings!I did try eating a thin mint and one of those tagalong things last year or the year before. I was so aware of what I was eating those were the last two I've ever had. I just can't eat them anymore! LOL!
I do buy a box from each troop at school and donate them directly to the armed services. That way I figure I'm donating to two worthy causes.
