Yay on the yogurt! DO NOT FREEZE your starter. That method rarely works because the bacteria die from the sub freezing temperature! I used left over Fage 0% that I have in the fridge. You can use your homemade yogurt as starter, too. After awhile, you will have to replenish the bacteria and buy another small container of a multi bacteria yogurt (Like Fage).

Pressure cooking is not hard at all! Start with something easy - hard boiled eggs, poached chicken breasts (for another recipe), artichokes. I made a curry right off the bat and it was super simple. I can send you the recipe, if you want it.

Paula - very wise to separate the treats next time. I find that if I only have one, I enjoy it more anyway.

Hi all

Early morning eye doctor apt due to red itchy eye.  He thinks its allergy related.  Got some drops that cost about a zillion dollars. gonna have clean pillow cases nightly since doctor thinks dogs might be tracking in some allergy thing and of course they get on our bed.

129 today. I will take it.  exercise so far is 2000 steps in costco.  The rest will be walking in circles in the art gallery I guess.  Hope some customers come in.  Loads to do before trip on the 16.  Change banks, pick a new health plan, do tax returns for the  gallery.

Puppy proofing the house can wait a bit.

Stay well, thin, and happy all, not necessarily in that order.    diane s

197

Body firmly hanging on to that number. Not sure why, but it's happy there for now. Food has been on point and I got up to pee twice last night, so I was certain I'd be back at 196. No such luck. Oh well, all I can do is control what goes down the hatch!

Blood tests this morning. PCP ordered a Cholesterol Panel at my request (I like to check every 6 months since they put me back on meds and I've lost over 30 pounds since last screening). He noticed that my bariatric MD also ordered annual tests and mentioned I could do those at the same time. I am at a loss as to why the bariatric doc didn't let me know she ordered the tests. Well, I should have results for most of the tests by tomorrow and the remainder will be available on Monday.

Paula, glad your scoping is over! As for the treats, I have to do the same. I can't eat a meal and follow it with a dessert. It has to be one or the other - even at 4 years out. Generally, I need to wait about 1 1/2 to 2 hours after dinner to eat my yogurt in the evening.

Will have my regular workout tonight, have dinner with BFF and Ron (and possibly Auntie Kathryn). The weekend looks fairly uneventful and pretty wide open tomorrow, which I really will enjoy.

Cheers!
