Hump Day 03/02/16

Hello my partners in skinny!

123.9 this morning, no wrap.  I like this.

In fact, I like everything about today. Even tho it is cloudy out, Mount Rainier is out in all her glory. Truly spectacular.  (Native Seattleites sometimes add "until she blows"  She is an active volcano.)

AND, I had another plastic surgeon consult today and I am sure this is the PS I will use.  Her price is competitive and she is one of few surgeons in the area with a lot of experience with massive weight loss patients.  Her binder of comparable patients was huge and she seems to have a great reputation.

It will be a LBL.  The panniculectomy portion has already been approved by insurance.  You know that I am not necessarily driven to PS by pure aesthetics because I haven't had my boobs reconstructed.  But after a lot of soul searching, I have declared the extra skin on my legs and hind side a physical hindrance as well as being worse-than butt ugly.

She never does inner thigh work in the same procedure because sometimes the LBL provides enough improvement that peeps decide they don't need the inner thigh work after all.  However, she isn't promising me much but "improvement" because I have "so much extra tissue."  (The whole plastics appointment is so surreal that everything about it should have air quotes."

I am aiming for plastics in August in part because of work schedule and in part because I really want some time to work on becoming physically stronger.  Also, we have an active 2 week June vacation in Alaska planned and I want to be 100% (or maybe 150%!) for that.

I enjoyed everyone's posts although I am not sure that enjoyed is the right word for some of the news.  I hope that those of you injured have fast recovery, those with procedures coming up are adequately knocked out and the rest of you have/had a kick butt day!

Exactly the same time we are in Alaska!  We are renting an RV and will be roaming around.  No scale for two weeks!

Hey Linda, the RV we are renting is a 2015 31 foot (or so) Minnie Winnie "premium. "  No idea exactly what makes it premium but its pictures look great.  We have rented an RV one other time when we went to Yellowstone and very much enjoyed it.
