Sunday 28 Feb 16
Good morning all,
Happy Sunday, the sun is shining and it feels like Spring might just be in the air. Nothing new with me today. I did love seeing everyones pet pictures yesterday. They are such an important part of our families.
I am off to a baby shower for my best friends grandbaby. So exciting.
Have a great one everyone Hugs Lorna!
140.8.... can't figure the 4 tenths gain.... I "know" that is no big deal,,, just curious since I had about 309 less calories yesterday. I had 1151 on Friday and 842 yesterday. But I did not get all my water in.... guess maybe 50 oz? Do you think it was that I did not have enough calories or not enough water??? I am wanting to get into the 30's so badly!!! Been at 140's for 5 days now. I guess I am inpatient with myself and focussing too much on the scales. Also, I have not exercised but one day this week. Well, there you have it,,, all my confessions! :( It is Sunday though, right! :)
TeashaLorna, baby showers are fun! I had my first grand baby 6 weeks ago! (boy) So exciting!
Enjoy this beautiful weather everyone! Coming from NC

Shorting your water intake can make your body want to hold on to the water it has. Personally, I never think gains are related to not enough calories.
You are doing well! You are small now, the weight will come off slower. Just stick to your plan (and drink more fluids!)

Hello friends,
I absolutely love the solitude of weekend mornings. Thanks so much for posting to petpalooza! If any of you want me to post yours but need a hand, let me know and we can organize. I am a huge pet lover.
123.0 today with the wrap. Until I met this group, I never even thought about weighing to the 10th. I know for sure that I have specific water issues and am not concerned about un-earned gains. During weight loss, I was so structured that I never had an earned gain. (I become emotional when I think about this. I spent DECADES thinking that I was weak, irresponsible and lacked any self control.)
Anyhoo, eventually I bought a fibit aria as part of the New Maintenance Me so now I have 10ths and automatic bluetooth tracking.
As I navigate these new waters, I am less confident that I know what is extra fluid and what is earned. In my Sunday solitude, I feel confident that I can be flexible and adapt to whatever. That's the point of the daily weighing and the point of joining this group. I joined to stay present in my journey but I stay because I like you :)
Dance program last night was fabulous. Today I am instant-potting, exercising and taking my daughter out for brunch so she can explain why I should let her skip the usual sophomore science class and instead jump ahead to chemistry. She already has teacher approval but not without some concern. This kid wants to grow up so fast!
Thanks for being here! Shel

Good Morning Circle of Skinny Friends !
It is sunny here too, today ! It makes me ache to rake and bag leaves, but there is no place to put them for another month.
133's today. I log the tenths in MFP, but is such a needed shift for me to focus on the whole number !! I'd much rather shift my focus to exploring and embracing "the new normal". Protecting my skinny, having immediate gratification mean that I made a choice aligned with my commitment and compliance v. impulsively eating a craved food I hadn't planned for.... the "new normal" I'm working to build.
A final goal for today is to get my Surface to release the pet photo's it's hanging on to.
Have a fabulous day, all.

Ah, today here in sunny CA I am having a cloudy morning. BOooooo! LOL!
I have a client coming in 20 minutes and I am still in my robe, unshowered, teeth still fuzzy, and I'm not stressing! HA!
197.7 today. Scale went the wrong way. However, it's all good and acceptable. I am SORE from my new workout and my eating was highly abnormal yesterday. I did not eat poorly, but I didn't track, my water was too low (only 48 oz), I had a diet soda before lunch out and then half a one at dinner. I ate not a single meal at home either. HOWEVER, I ate an elk burger (bunless) for dinner and quite liked it! I splurged for dessert and went to Smitten for an ice cream afterwards. Oh, yes, we shared some chocolate yesterday, too! Overall, I am not going to complain. I had a day of loose eating. It showed up on the scale. Oh well....
Like you Shel, 1 year ago I would have been absolutely beating myself up over this. Today, it's all good. It was a single day. I'm totally capable of being on track today and there really was no harm done yesterday that cannot be fixed today. Just a blip.
Emotional growth is a wonderful thing!
PS - My batch of yogurt I made yesterday is the best ever! I used 2% milk this time and let it drain over night. It is the smoothest, and creamiest yogurt! Still need to figure out how to get a little more tang. Maybe let it ferment longer??? Not sure.
