LOL, I would never be able to dance on stage like you! It is my daughter's event. This one is just the upper level dancers, they bring in "guest choregraphers" from the local dance community and there has been a million extra practices the last 6 weeks.
While I miss the little kids (oh so cute!) I have to say that this particular performance is especially lot of fun to watch. I am so impressed with the kiddo's commitment and enthusiasm and the outside choerographer's creativity.
They had some slots for student choreographers as well and my daughter is one of them. So she led her own little group of dancers for a contemporary piece! I have seen part of her dance.....so much emoting! Again, lots of fun to watch.

Weird day yesterday! I had a 2x2 inch square of a breakfast casserole I made for school. It sat like lead and made me feel off in my gut. The whole rest of the day my sleeve was tight. We went out last night and tried a new Chinese place (we finally have found our new go to! Yay!!!). I barely ate. The soup was tasty, but I managed 3 sips. Tasted a pot sticker. 2 bites and gave the rest to my BFF. Chicken came, and I barely got 2 oz in. Had my usual yogurt late night, but that even took a while to get down. Just odd.
Great, kick butt workout yesterday! I'm pushing just enough that I love it and the exertion is just this side if miserable. It's a fine line.
Grooming a pooch right now, have a club luncheon to go to, and then I will check out the pet palooza post!
Happy weekend!
134's today. I really like the idea of focusing to the left of the decimal and using the tenths place as additional information.
Swam this morning and walking Sadie later. I've begun to plan my Memorial Day looong weekend trip to Santa Monica. My, how my life has changed ! It will coincide with my first surgiversary , and my hotel selection was all about exercise facilities and being able to walk, walk, walk. I'm roasting watermelon radishes for dinner, and am looking forward to trying that.
I'll gather Sadie, and our two Maine Coons and "Fido" the Ragdoll, who thinks he's a dog for picturesclater.

My scale gave me a glimpse at 112 but settled at 113. I'm not recording my food right now and am not purposely restricting so still a bit surprised at the low numbers after my trip. As I mentioned previously, my food was probably in check while I was away, but I drank a LOT of wine. Please remind me of that if the scale takes an unexpected upturn this week!
DH and I are dreaming of traveling and some form of 'retirement'. We have some hurdles to overcome, but we're actively thinking about the path forward.
Karen I covet coffee and drink 2-3 cups daily with 18% cream, no sweetener. I consider coffee to be just like any other fluid. At times when I'm recording my food (weight loss times) I don't bother with things that are 30 cals or less. Yes the cream adds up if I drink 3 coffees, but I probably over compensate for food cals, which means I don't sweat the small stuff because I virtually always lose as planned for.
ADDITION As I reflect more on how I do things now, I realize I've come to a point where I don't sweat the small stuff in terms of managing my weight. The scale number, former trigger words like 'diet' and obsessing over creating completely accurate calorie logs aren't part of who I am anymore. All these things are tools - helpers - friends - that help me on my journey. I think that's progress!
Pet Palooza post is coming!

Greetings Skinny Circle:
My scale only does .5 increments and its fluttering 129.5 and 130. I'll take the lower number. Don't want to be greedy like taking the biggest piece of pie.
Don't let that cold get you! I swear that zicam zinc stuff works.
Washing a maltese wow. In my old college days I had waist length really thick hair and it was like washing a sheepdog!
We had potstickers in broth for dinner last night. Pretty good and if you only eat 3 or 4 the calories are not too bad. Probably loaded with salt.
No plans for today other than chores chores chores. Our house is starting to look like an episode of Hoarders and laundry is a mile high.
Well I counted coffee as liquid when I used to track it. Dr. Cirangle thinks coffee is a good thing as its an appetite suppressant. I take a hot cup of it with me to the studio and sometimes forget lunch. Of course, Dr. doesn't know I put half and half in it but its my one remaining indulgence.
Have fun dancing and with winterfest party. sounds like a great time. We should have "rain-fest" here but in California we are grateful for all water. Lets all be grateful for good water and that we don't have Flint Michigan water (I hope). I am thinking of getting an under sink filter for the kitchen even though we know of no water issues here. diane s
I love Thai food! I always used to get curries, which I still love. But our local Thai restaurant has a crispy duck salad that's yummy, with lots of pieces of duck and cashews in a green salad with a lime and cilantro dressing. It's been a long time since I got that. Hmm... maybe this weekend!
Have fun at the pre-dance party!
