VSG Maintenance Group

Well my husband made it! Was fairly confident he would, but you just never know. Unfortunately when layoffs resume tomorrow I'm afraid we'll know a lot of those who didn't make the cut. I know it's just business and they don't like making these reductions in force. But it really stinks that you come to treat your colleagues like family, even your company with loyalty like family...and it can be over in an instant.
I mentioned yesterday that MFP only collects weight data for a year. Luckily I have some numbers posted to my blog. At the end of 2013 I stated that my weight had pretty solidly centered around 157 for that year (2013). So by that I would conclude that my weight (which is 156.8 today) has been consistent in 2013, 2014, and 2015. Good news is I feel more confident with my method for maintaining. Bad news is: it's never been easy to get below this point, which I really want to do! I guess I really need to decide whether I want to maintain or to lose. I've been pretty ambivalent about losing the weight. Which is okay. But I do not think I will have the ability to lose weight using the same strategy I'm using to maintain.
I also noticed that my low weight of about 151.5 was around 18 months-3 years post op or so. Even for my wedding I was more like 154. I've been wearing my fitbit now. Not sure how accurate it is since I'm pretty sure my metabolism is shot to hell. But it's interesting at least for comparison. I've only been getting in a paltry 3500-4000 steps daily without trying. So by the end of the day it says my "calories burned" is around 1775.
