Good morning all,

Short and sweet this morning busy day!  I wish you all the best of the best and keep doing what you are doing you bunch of "winners".

Down 1.5 to (152.3) this morning, so tracking as I thought.

Hugs all!  Lorna

Yay! You are doing great! I was impressed with such a little gain over your Holiday and now you are losing like gangbusters!

121.4. This might be my all time low since surgery. Funny that I am losing with NO exercise whatsoever! I do know that you need extra calories to heal after surgery so maybe that is it. I think I will increase calories again to 1,500 per day since I have steadily been going down.

I actually got out of the house for a bit last night. Went to a scouting event - had a bunch of Cub Scouts "crossing over" into our Boy Scout Troop. The standing made me pretty sore, but it was good to be among the living! Plan to go to bible study tonight too (don't have to stand for that one!) Pain is getting better each day, I can get myself in and out of bed now and can even update here on the office computer instead of my phone! I feel like I'm starting to turn the corner - Yay!

Devon, can't wait for your report today......so, so close!

Morning on this Wed morning.

well done everyone and for those of us with red line alarms, we are thankful for those alarms.  They make us think and come to terms with reality.

calaories yesterday not so great 1478 and only 9888 steps.

could simply not do anything right yesterday, ie sent wrong emails to wrong people, got a database all messed up etc etc.  You would have thought it was Monday again.

Happy Weds.

New day! Love your honesty, too! BTW - by most people's standards a day of fewer than 1500 calories is rather spectacular. We must keep things in perspective. So hard for us sometimes!

Good morning!

Lorna, wow!  1st a small gain with an extended vacation and then already a quick drop.  I want to be you when I grow up!  Great job!!!

Paula, I just spotted yesterday's blood pressure.  NICE TO SEE YOU POSTING THIS MORNING! Good grief, maybe some salt is in order? Have one in those men in your house bring you some pho or hot and sour soup or whatever you salt delivery of choice is.  I remember you have a cardiologist but I don't remember why so I should also say don't add salt if your cardiologist thinks it is a bad idea.

Did you all hear the big flush yesterday?  No coincidence, weight is 124.8 today, down almost 2 lbs.  By posting this information, I really feel like I have passed a litmus test for this group :)

I will yoga today at least once and will make sure I get my personal training homework in.  I spend an awful lot of time in yoga pants.  Braised red cabbage in the instant pot today.  I didn't make it in WL because it isn't protein forward but it will fit aok in maintenance.  It fills me with warm memories of grandparents and extended family.

DianeO, hope your swelling is subsiding.  I'm going to try to elevate my arm today and get my referral to the lymphedema peeps in order. I really do think that it is related to the personal training work but I don't think it is a reason to stop the training.  I just need to learn to manage it better.  Also, I would like some sort of sleeve that can passively help (you know, so I don't have to do the work!)

Go and conquer!

Shel

Love the big flush comment! That must have been one heck of a poop!

Salt is just fine for me. I see a cardiologist for arrhythmia - first had problems with a-fib many years ago and then I had sudden cardiac arrest (arrhythmia related, probably due to Fleccainde therapy) 8 years ago. I think I will probably just follow with my electrophysiologist from here on out though - I take no cardiac meds anymore except for Atorvastatin - needed to stop the beta blockers after the weight loss due to hypotension.
