NSV! Photo whoring! (Okay, totally over posting today!)
I'm actually in an elementary school--crazy, huh? Public schools here have REAL teachers for music, PE, and library in the district where I work. My actual children also get art and dance (can you believe that??) in their neighborhood public school--and class size is never more than 25. It's amazing. Imagine your kids going to a "specialist" for 45 minutes every day while you got (gasp) PREP time. I'm finding my way with managing such a wide range of kiddos. My day literally goes 2nd grade, 5th grade, 1st grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade. On Wednesdays (our early release day) I get all Kinder, so at least I feel less scattered that day.
It is rainy rainy rainy and DARK but I'm adjusting. I'd like to find a support group here but am having no luck. I think I'd have to drive into Portland and their traffic is not fun thanks to all the bridges. I'm also having a hard time figuring out exercise here. I literally cannot find any classes that start after 6:30, and by the time I get home and take kids to activities I need to go later (as I was doing in SJ). I'm looking forward to summer and more sunlight, though. Maybe I'll run again even though I kind of hated it.
Hope your year is going well. Tell everyone (if you see them) that I say hi. :)
