Good morning peeps. Scale has rewarded me with 112 today! Will give things a few days to ensure the number sticks before starting to move out of weight loss mode.
So reflecting on Kairk's post earlier his week about how much more effort it takes to lose as you we get further out, it took me five weeks to lose six pounds. That was with a 500 calorie reduction every day except for one. So with a super tight program, that's what it took to get rid of the Christmas nonsense food. If I had not been as clean (damn near 'perfect') it would have taken longer.
And of course I'm likely to be eating extras on my upcoming trip so more weight loss required pretty much right away! Nevertheless, I needed to get back to this weight prior to the trip so I'm glad I've been able to accomplish that.
Lots to do today - will try to pop back and reply to some of your posts

Hi all, hope everyone has a sunny day like we have here. GL with the gall bladder surgery. Naughty little thing needs to go. And also the gastro bug needs to go bye bye.
Up to 129.5. So there are a couple of pounds around here that need to go bye bye too. Guess I really need to get tracking again and face the music. Tonight is out to dinner for anniversary so I will try to stick to a salad or tapas. No dessert.
Off to the studio. The tech accidentally broke one of my pieces loading it in the kiln. Not a big deal but gotta see if i can repair it.
Last night was a lengthy board meeting. We always drink wine to get us through it. Probably too much in extra calories. Dinner was chicken with pesto plus green beans.
Finally got my glasses back with defective lens fixed. Maybe I will go look for those night herons at the bird marsh.
