124.6, staying steady! I mapped out today's eating in MFP already and if I stick to it I will be at 1403 for calories, 82 G for carbs and 145 G for protein which would be a stellar day for me! I got 45 minutes of step aerobics in and 55 minutes of yoga in yesterday. Don't think I will get in any today as I'm pretty sure we have a lunch meeting at work and then I'm hosting bible study at our home tonight.

I'm enjoying the increased activity on this board...so glad that more people are finding their way here!

Have a great day everyone! Huump Daaaaaaaaay! (Said in my best camel voice!)

Good Morning !    138.8.  I have a gastrointestinal thing going on, for the first time since VSG.  Up all night with diarrhea, so that could be some of the loss.  I'm not willing to try any of my old methods (crackers, dry toast, gingerale) for putting something in my stomach and feeling queasy anyway, so just making staying hydrated (green tea...maybe fresh ginger added) my priority.  I have some high protein sugar free jello left from my extended full liquid phase early on, so I'll try to get that in too.  I'm sure it is just a 24 hour thing.

Have a great day, all !!

184.2 continuing downward.

Last night I woke up with excruciating leg cramps, charley horses in my calves and thighs, the thigh cramps would not stop, both thighs, I couldn't walk, crying and yelling for help. In retrospect, I should have told my son to call an ambulance instead of suffering through, but I thought it would be over soon. I was finally able to get to the Tylenol and I had a very old one liter bottle of diet tonic water with quinine. I briefly worried about the carbonation rule but then chugged a quarter of the bottle.  I was going to get in the shower but was afraid to move. I finally fell asleep and had no more cramping. So scary.

I know I'm hydrated, I've been eating bananas because I've been working hard clearing out my parents' house and cleaning my house. I suppose it's from overusing my leg muscles, but Holy @*%#! there must be a way to stop that pain!!!

My legs do that when I am vitamin D deficient. It is excruciating and won't let up.

More than one mineral/electrolyte can contribute to this....not sure when your most recent lab work was.

Pre VSG for years, I used to get terrible muscle cramps, at the worst it was in all muscles (even face!), pretty freaky. Through trial and error, I found that a Ca/Mg/Zn supplement a few days a week toned it way down.

I was found to be magnesium deficient in the lab work completed before VSG.  As long as a take my extra magnesium every single day, all cramps are gone.  Miss a day or two...they are back!

I just had bloodwork done for my 18 month checkup. All was well except for low Vitamin D.  I forgot to add them to my weekly vitamin/pill container.  Looks like TeashaLorna hit this nail right on its stupid head. I won't forget those again.

Checking in and reading all your fabulous posts. I have been pushing the limits of my sleeve and that stops today. For today I will be mindful of the full feeling and try to get protein in first. Food is not great in Cuba and I have had more carbs than I have ever eaten , we'll post VSG anyway.

Hugs to all you maintainers and losers. Lorna

So glad to have you back!  I was trying to tell my hubby that we should consider going to Cuba sometime.
