I would think that you would begin to see a trace within a few to several days. It will take longer with more carbs on board.
When I was low carbing it, when I had yogurt it would be a small portion. I would weigh a spoon, take a spoonful and see what weighed and go from there. Usually somewhere around 1 to 1.5 oz. I might put a few (3-4!) peanuts on it. Then, I would sit down and eat it off the spoon. This sounds pathetic but was quite decadent and, dare I say, satisfying at the time.
We are in opposite places in our diets. Today I drove around the city looking to see who had a particular brand of yogurt in stock because only one local company will satisfy me!

Deven, I'm not sure how long it takes to get in ketosis. For me, I know I'm there when the top of my tongue turns yellow. It happened the first when I was on a strict Atkins diet back during the summer between high school and college. At first I had no clue why my tongue was yellow and I thought I had some rare disease! :) Sounds like you're doing well. Glad the quad is feeling better!
