Hi all, Thanks for the mention of the Refuse to Regain book. Think I will get it.

Bought some clay yesterday for my art. It comes pre mixed in 25 lb bags.  I have a hard time lifting one due to grip issues. But it still seems so dang heavy and I can't imagine that I was once carrying around almost 5 of those. No wonder my back hurt so much.

The little Ewok dog is still here and another breeding will be attempted today. Boy she is really a food shark and has learned the fine art of kitchen loitering. She comes from a home where there are about 6 dogs so I think she likes it here where dog treats are dispensed more often. She and our old female spend their time sniffing everywhere looking for crumbs.  Our male is, of course, off his food.

Its raining like mad so not much to be done outside. Wish my house would self clean like the oven does.  still at 129.  diane s

Thank you everyone for the good wishes! It is definitely a tear. Damn! However, not nearly as bad as the calf tear in July. My trainer has contacted me three times to check on me. Good trainer. I think he's feeling a bit guilty because he wanted me to increase my reach in the lunge and that's how the quad tore.

Weight fine. down another .3 today.

Funniest thing - Grooming an Irish terrier today who took a sawn dive off the table. The clamp on the table was on tight and the dog did it just right and the table top snapped. Have to replace the table top, but a picture of the broken grooming table made great Facebook fodder!

Will be celebrating b'days tonight and tomorrow. Most likely off plan. Ron and I agreed to have some b'day cake tomorrow. Then, I'm going low carb folks. Yup, you heard it. I'm scared to death for some reason, but I know I can do it. If I hate it, I can always go back to eating the way I am now.

As for calories: I'm not willing to reduce drastically yet. I'll go to 1,000 and see how I feel, but first I'll concentrate on getting into ketosis. That should take 48-72 hours. Then I'll cut calories.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Sorry to hear about the tear....how long will your exercise be derailed with that?

Best of luck with the low carb!
