Exercise BAD!
Exercise BAD! Pulled a quad doing walking lunges while carrying 20 pound dumb bells in each hand. Snap, crackle, pop! went the quad. At least it's not bad. I can walk on it. My quad is just quite tight and a bit sore. I have to take the weekend off from exercising. Damn, damn, damn.
As for this morning's post.... I just wanted to share some take aways from the small group session with Dr. C. I always leave his sessions feeling motivated and with something to think about.
Topics yesterday: Commitment to self, calories, carbs and ketosis, and exercise. I've got some thinking to do this weekend about going back to super low carb plan and drastically reduced calorie plan.
Exercise in a nutshell - It's great, but when it comes to weight loss, it's what you put in your mouth that counts.
Sorry to see about your injury! I am glad it isn't worse. Maybe your body could use a bit of rest as well as it heals up.
I think Dr. C and his group are pretty interesting and would always love to here what you learn there --- as long as OH posting isn't messed up, of course! It was nice to hear that he didn't have concerns about a very low calorie diet/ketosis to speed you on your way should you want to do that.
More and more, I feel like our individual diets are just that, individual. Not to say there aren't some basic requirements that are needed to prevent deficiencies, but, after that, there is so much unknown that it is hard to say what is right or wrong for a particular individual.
Commitment, though, will never go out of style! Good luck in your weekend planning!

That injury sucks. Take care and be sure to rest it well.
