123.0 - at the very bottom of my red line. Time to officially raise my calories up by 100 more. I got both step aerobics and level 2 yoga in yesterday - 45 minutes of each. Went out to lunch for sushi - I'm on such a sushi kick lately, can't get it often enough!

Tatt hurts just a little this morning. I will down a few Tylenol before I leave for work.

Happy Friday everyone! Enjoy your weekends!

Good morning,

One last comment about my doctor's appointment yesterday --- the oncologist "resolved" morbid obesity on my problem list so it is no longer active. I find immense pleasure in the removal of the active label from my medical chart.  But, I also know that a couple of keystrokes doesn't unravel my SMO background or prevent regain.  I am still waiting for that fairy dust!  In the meantime, will just keep on being mindful.....watchful-waiting, so to speak.

123.7 this morning.  I am practicing with my newly allowed calories, mostly in the form of fats.

Paula, pretty impressive 1.5 hours exercise yesterday. It is clear why you have great muscle definition.  Is that a yoga flow that you are doing?  (in other words, one that is more active than not?)   When I have two yoga classes on the same day, one of them is always a yin yoga which is structured laying around so not a physical hardship!

My personal trainer added "crawling" to my home routine, both forwards and backwards.  It surprisingly works on a lot of my problem areas all at once. I both love it and hate it. I fail at being a baby! Who knew those little 15 lb babies are so strong!

Enjoy the day!  The weekend is almost here.

Shel

So happy for you Shel!  Love to see those conditions resolved Shel!  I don't know if the issues that have resolved for me have been taken off of my chart, or just says they're in remission.  I have a newer dr., as mine left due to illness and died a couple of months ago.  After getting my A1C done, because the new dr. insisted, last fall, and it was, once again 5.0 (for past 4 years), she finally agreed that I don't need to have regular diabetes checks anymore and I can consider it off the table.  It felt great!

I do the biggest loser weight loss Yoga - very active - lots of upper body work in level one and abs in level two. Not at level 3 yet so don't know what body part that will focus on! I also do the biggest loser boot camp and that has legs and arms. I'm blessed in that I can put on muscle fairly easily.

Good morning (for 7 more minutes).

Paula, congrats on your tattoo!  I love the colors.

Linda, so glad the fear is leaving you.  Sending hugs and good vibes that the issue quickly gets resolved so you can move on.  It's great to have a supportive husband - makes what you're going through a bit easier to bear.

Still working on getting back on track, but not there yet.  In today's journal entry, I admitted that though I wanted to commit to a calorie limit and no refined carbs, something was holding me back - my addiction.  I just couldn't 100% commit to those goals.  I committed to trying and to no tbeat myself if I don't succeed, as I know if I beat myself, I set myself up for continuing the unhealthy behavior.  I did commit to dealing with at least one issue each day that I'm stressed over.  I have been the President and CEO of the International Procrastinators Club for most of my life.  Today I am trying to step down from that role.

Hugs to all of you and have a great Friday!

Mary

Mary, I'm so impressed by the work you are doing. It will be so beneficial in the long run. The whole addiction thing is tough to navigate. You will get there. Just keep plugging away at it. The way I see it, you've committed to journaling every day. That is a major step in the right direction. Carbs and calories will follow when you are ready.

Hope the school lock down didn't stress you out too much! I was the admin in charge of our school yesterday and had to evacuate 460 students due to a microwave fire in the teacher's lounge! LOL! A teacher, who chooses to remain anonymous, left a "nuke-able" pizza in the microwave far too long and it burst into flames! I should post a picture. It's hysterical!

Thanks so much Devon!  Oh no on the fire!!!!

We finally got a robo call message form the principal this morning and she apologized for not calling yesterday.  There had been a report that a fellow student had a weapon, but luckily she didn't.  The students *****ported what they heard were praised for reporting.  I feel a lot better!

I think procrastination may be my number one food trigger!  If I can just get it done (whatever it is) the head hunger is massively improved. It is an every single day issue. I am enjoying your journaling processes

edited to say I AM not enjoying your journaling!

Thanks Shel!  Yeah, putting things off is not all it's cracked up to be.  When the things I put off are hard, the stress is there, but the food stuffs it dawn for awhile.  I'll be pulling for you too!

Good Afternoon-

Month 8 ends next Wednesday, and I continue to hold at ten pounds down for the month. (Keep in mind I only lost 5 in December, due to my "holiday 3").  I still plan to stay at ~800 calories for five more pounds, to 135.

I've been hungrier in the morning following high activity days. I tracked 9,445 steps on my Tushi yesterday (but now my car is pouting because another device is connected to my phone, so my car is no longer linked to my phone.)  I digress... I tried something new, because today is a low carb day and I haven't had oatmeal in a year and I've been wanting some.  I created a new overnight jar recipe ( 2 T steel cut oats, 3 oz. plain non fat Greek yogurt, 3 oz. vanilla EAS protein drink, 1/2 scoop of Unjury unflavored powder and 1/4 cup of blueberries).  I knew I was going to have a crazy day today, so I had this around 8:30, rather than my usual Quest bar on my drive in at 6:30 AM.  It was FABULOUS, and has kept me totally satisfied.

Backward crawling !!!  Who knew  ?  Snow's still "off", so weekend exercise activities are ON !!!!!    Have a great rest of the day !!
