Guess who has gallstones????
No big surprise....I have stones and will have to have my gallbladder evicted. My PCP will send in a referral for surgery. Not sure when the surgery will happen yet but I did cancel my tattoo appointment for Thursday. I imagine it will be in the next few weeks and I don't want to risk getting MRSA or something in a healing tattoo.
Here is my tattoo story - I have wanted one since I was 30. My Dad talked me out of it at the time (not professional, you will regret it etc.) I got my upper cartilage in my ear pierced instead. About 8 years ago I lost 100 lbs. on Medifast and my reward once I hit goal was a nose piercing (I wear a very small diamond in my nose). Fast forward to now. I decided that when I reached goal this time I would get a tattoo. I am now 50 and still want a tattoo. I think that after 20 years of wanting one....I deserve it! I have 3 picked out and will decide after the first one if I really want more or not. My first one will be a sea turtle with waves and two plumeria flowers. I'm getting it on my right scapula (shoulder area on upper back). My husband and I love Hawaii and plan on retiring on Maui in about 10 years. I love the sea turtles and plumerias in Hawaii. I also want to get a tattoo of the Hawaiian islands on my foot and have a heart on the island of Maui. My 3rd tattoo is a water color humming bird. I want that one on my calf. My Mom is my best friend and she loves birds, especially humming birds. I think I would have Mom written in a very fine script font below the bird. That way my Mom will always be with me (even when she is gone someday!)
Sorry about the gallstones. I hope they do your surgery soonest.
Nice sentiments on your tattoos. I love the story behind each one you want to get. I keep toying with the idea of getting "He knows my name" written on the inside side of my middle finger I'm just to chicken because I think it will really hurt there.
