Good morning gang.  I'm at 114 again and my food was really clean yesterday.  Was planning a glass of wine at home but skipped it because of a headache, likely due to the introduction of the medication.  I'm enjoying the reintroduction of the daily Quest bar and am appreciating the 17 grams of fiber ;-) Also discovered that a serving of stevia sweetened Belgian chocolate (replaced the wine) contains 10 grams of fiber.  Who knew?

My goodness we've got a super solid vibe going right now. Some of us have successfully settled our brains down post eating season and others are on track to get there. As hard as it is to get the damn thing to switch off the cravings, if we can manage the few days of white knuckling, peace always comes.

Hello Fellow On Plan Powerful Mojo Maintainers !

Sleet and freezing rain when I drove to the Y at 6:45 for my mile. Apparently my fellow swimmers at this particular Y are equally avid, but we shared nicely! (There were 6 lap lanes, with 2-3 people sharing each lane today.) It is up to 38 and Sadie and I plan to get a walk in if the rain stops.

I received a letter regarding my recent blood work from my Bariatric office yesterday. My protein level and B1 are low again, and I have to double up on vitamins and add a full daily protein shake. I already have half a container of EAS in my morning 32 oz. Of decaf. I'm going to have to get the other half in somewhere... They want to see me again at the end of March. (My one year visit is the end of May.) I think they knew I didn't intend to follow their "stay above 145 directive". I am so glad  am having my Bod Pod Tuesday AM, as I am counting on that data to support what I want for my body and health.

Paula... I'd have to agree that your experience sounds just like what I experienced. Make sure you push to have it removed ASAP... my last attack before surgery resulted  in a blocked duct and emergency surgery.

I was inspired by the supportive response from the board yesterday, and by Lorna and Stephanie's resolve! I agree, the super solid vibe creates a synergy among us, where the strength of the whole can give us all something to anchor to and draw from!

Have an on target day, all !!

Hi all, didn't get here this morning because I had to fix some food for a pot luck, Pleased to report that I stayed on plan (with maybe a few too many mixed nuts)  and didn't eat the scalloped potatoes, lasagne, fruity whipped cream stuff or dessert except for one bite of birthday cake. No wine either. now that calls for a drink!

Glad everyone is doing so well. It was nice to spend the afternoon with friends at a party to celebrate a birthday and paying off a home mortgage.

Hi all!

I'm glad we all seem to have the MOJO going! I, too, had a great on track day yesterday. Had an intensely great workout with the trainer - all new exercises (except one) that pushed me up a hefty notch. My glutes were already sore last night! 24 hours later my upper body is beginning to follow suit. By tomorrow the full on sore will have hit.

Up early and out with 2 of the dogs, plus my BF and his dog for the barn hunt workshop. Outside all day in the drizzle, but a lot of fun for the dogs. Potluck posed no problem for me today, nor did the pastries, chocolates or cheesecake. They were just NOT on the table for me today. I stuck to 4 chicken wing drumettes and a little bit of salad and a few pieces of the fruit salad. BTW - It's been so long since I've had chicken wings, I gotta say the skin kind of icked me out. Didn't like it so much - especially cold. I think that's why I was able to eat the 4 - I was only eating the top part and leaving the rest behind.

I was up .9 of a pound this morning, which is completely fine considering the workout I had yesterday. I'm still at a lower weight than I was just before Christmas. No complaints!
